Have any of you had a look to see how much the return train fare from Zurich to Berne is an what time the trains run after the gig? I'm notoriously bad at reading timetables so haven't attempted this task!

I'm doing this trip on an extremely tight budget as it'll be coming out of the same month's pay as the Paris trip which is a four day one, so am hoping to know in advance how much money I'm likely to need.

No expensive restaurants or boozing for me in Switzerland!:LOL:

The last train is 11.43 from Bern Wankdorf, I will need to check how much it is, though according to my cousin you can get some sort of day saver ticket need to check. There is also a bus at 11.12 not sure which would be the best, I'm guessing the bus would be packed and a rush to get to..

And no I am fine if we just buy a sandwich!

Is that a bus from the stadium to the station, or Berne to Zurich?? I don't mind a brisk walk to the station after the gig:)

Sandwiches all the way! :awesome::LOL:

I just did a search on http://www.sbb.ch/en/ for Zurich airport to Wankdorf (selecting the stadium as a point of interest) and it's given me a couple of different stations at the end, with different walking times, but I bet that will depend on the entrance/exit that we use... Guess we'll just need a bit of reccie-ing time once we're there.

Yep, at least there will be a few of us to all get it wrong together! :awesome:

Do you know if Kelly has got a ticket yet?

Pip I am counting on you to commit the stage set up to memory during that gig so you know exactly where we need to run to for the Friday at SDF!!

Oh I will! You can be sure of that! :D:D

We won't be on the barrier for this as we arrive too late for early queueing but as Susie and I are in the golden circle we'll be able to get a good enough view to suss it all out!

I printed off my Eurostar boarding passes today for Paris!:D

*prays you have to send many, many tweets*

Haha yes, fingers crossed!

Score :awesome:

I'll keep an eye out for your tweets on that night.

:D

I may or may not tweet and/or post here, my roaming charges aren't too horrendous, depends, obviously! Main problem is that my phone doesn't have anywhere to attach a wrist-strap or lanyard and I'd hate to lose it :(

Same with mine, but it's pretty much on its last legs anyway

I get unlimited internet usage with my free text allowance but Twitter just never seems to work on my phone!

My main problem is that when I try to upload to twitpics or similar it gives something really weird as the subject, and flickr just doesn't work at all, so I'll prolly stick to facebook for pics

God help me, as it looks like nothing will happen on the adoption front until early June, I'm thinking of going... I'd be in GA standing, most likely.

Anyone else in GA I could meet up with?

And... any tips for transport? What looks good? /transport coward

Get Stehplatz Nord Jen, three of us have that ticket, it's on Matt's side!

We're all meeting up at Zurich airport, our flights are very close then we are getting the train from the airport (Zurich Flughafen) to Bern, we should be there about 11ish so we'll have a good part of the day to explore. We've found times for transport no problems, it's just the prices we're uncertain about, I tried pre-booking one just to see the price but you can only book a month in advance it seems! So I will ask my cousin about that and let you all know.

I don't know if you've looked at flights either but Easy Jet goes from Manchester to Zurich, only one flight it seems but your flight lands 40 minutes after mine so we can easily wait for you, then the next day it is 11am. That comes to about £70

You're a star, sweetie!

I suppose I can live without a close-up of Mr W if I'm with lovely chums on Matt's side :D
