btw can't find the post to quote, but seeing that TaB vid, I don't know that it's the suit that's constricting him, could be that he's afraid to move being up in the air :erm:

Yeah I was speaking generally when I said it. I meant the platform being constricting not the suit. It looked weird with him just standing there playing the riff when he's usually jumping around and shit.

hope all the gig goers are just in bed or travelling and not completely scared off.

i do want to hear actual impressions on the show...and have read the few that have been posted.

Hopefully they're just too out of it to post and we'll hear more from them tomorrow :)

Wait, wait.. I checked this place earlier and everyone were slagging the setlist off and then some people were like 'oh well, at least they got Bliss/CE/TAB'... and now you're saying the first two weren't even played?! What?!

So, basically, it was a regular gig with the "rarities" being Unintended, TAB, IBTL and NSC?

emph... I have to admit Bliss and CE didn't get me that excited (despite CE being one of my faves) but I just want to see something I haven't actually seen before. And you'd think that's not a lot to ask seeing as I've only started flying out to see them live at the very end of 2006.

Why is everybody so angry on behalf of the people who actually attended this gig? Shouldn't we wait and find out if they actually had a terrible time or not? The same happened on the Casino de Paris thread. People who weren't there said it was a disgrace' date=' those who were there said it was awesome.[/quote']

We're rising up and taking the power back, innit. Bellingmy told me to.

No one is saying that they had a terrible time or something like that. God, people are stupid.

Well, they just saw Muse. No matter how poor the setlists were, they'd probably still be blown away by that single fact. Blind awe.

The next morning, they wake up, scratch their heads and go "Wait, where the hell was Citizen Erased?"

ahh, yeah, we're on the same page then :)

That's one thing that might improve in later shows, after they get used to being on the platform... of course, it goes back to the same issue as before - it's all well and good to have the fancy props, but if they impede the music, it's the props that need to go, not the songs!

Regardless of the set, it certainly looks like a great atmosphere - I highly doubt many people went home disappointed with what they'd seen.

This it's just a shame that they're dismissing their hardcore fans who they know will be pissed off about the lack of poll songs.

Can someone please put me out of my misery of scanning this thread and post a reliable setlist if there is one. :erm:

I'm gathering CE and Bliss were for sure not played which is rather disturbing considering the polls and whatever it is Dom said. :(

If the suit was constricting it would help Matt bust out a wicked robot dance before UD :p

But I agree. The towers took away the riff outro for Uprising and it looked silly Matt just standing there rotating a laser. Now it's kind of effing up TaB. I say go nuts for piano songs, bc he's not gonna be going anywhere anyways, but for the rocking ones...stay on the stage please.

Tbh there could geninuely be the things like technical problems or missing guitars or the piano falling in a lake (maybe not the last one) and there would be a wave of people refusing to buy it.

Yes, not playing a setlist-poll song is shitty and fucked up. But this thread is, like someone said earlier, hitting your head against a wall of safety pins.

It has been posted a million times. But this should be correct, unless someone has changed it again. http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/muse/2010/stade-de-suisse-berne-switzerland-43d43b4b.html

I'm sure people would have gone home happy with what they'd seen, I'd imagine a lot of people would have been disappointed with what they'd heard though.

I'm sure they enjoyed it while they were there. It just could've been more memorable for some
