diamond_writer Posted August 21, 2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Starlight, although I had heard Uprising before I knew it was Muse. At the time, I was like, "Meh" because I was hard-core country. but after that I listened to Supermassive Black Hole (I think) and I was a fan after that.
DanniXX Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Time Is Running Out, from a compilation album I bought when I was 12. Then Supermassive Black Hole and Starlight were released and the year after I actually bought Black Holes and Revelations; the rest is history.
Mr. ORANGE Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Butterflies and Hurricanes - still my favourite song !!! And favourite to play too...it's just great - both versions (piano studio version and Absolution tour guitar version) - love how Wembley version captured the essence of both of them - Morgan's Rhodes piano + Matt's guitar...
AKnightOfCydonia Posted August 26, 2011 Posted August 26, 2011 Starlight, I thought it was an epic song and I loved them for the first moment!
GloriousAssassin Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Starlight on X-factor by a band I-don't-remember-its-name. That guy's voice is similar to Matt's(not that good but...) I think:erm:
FlammingCow Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 2003,,, time is running out,, damn, had to get the Ab, disk, played the heck out of it, and got the rest. anyway that got me hooked,
Spin26 Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I'll admit, it was Knights of Cydonia on GH3 in 2008. But that wasn't what spurred my fandom, that was when a friend of mine sent me some songs, namely Supermassive Black Hole, Hysteria, and Butterflies & Hurricanes. Looked up more from them after that.
polythenelucy Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Starlight........it didn't sound like anything special but it grew on me. I think it's my most played song on last.fm!
mt2004 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 feeling good....at the time I didn`t know who or what Muse was....
Jake123557 Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 Super Massive Black Hole, However it was Uprising that got me in to Muse. Then I started to listen to their classics, like Hysteria and Plug In Baby, and now I listen to almost every song all the time and I really love it.
irenetje Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Bliss back in 2001 on MTV. Liked it but didn't buy the album instantly, it took a while and more songs to become a fan. this
lurkinglurkerlurksagain Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Uprising on American Idol... Don't judge
Citizen Erased 01 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Uprising on American Idol... Don't judge you are hereby found guilty. Any last words?
Johi36 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I think it was Starlight in 2006. No wonder I like BH&R best.
White Heat Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 KOC, and i hated Muse for a long time (until i heard Hysteria)
TheLionSlicer Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Knights of Cydonia on Guitar Hero 3. I thought they were so cool
SarahMuse Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 City Of Delusion I liked it but it wasn't the one that made me a fan
heyjackk Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 heard Knights when a band played it at my schools talent thing back just after Black Holes came out and i thought the guitar parts were cool so i searched em up
lurkinglurkerlurksagain Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 you are hereby found guilty. Any last words? Uh, I... I.... I have no defense.
BigGeorge Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hysteria on MTV. Loved the song but I didn't even know who they were until I did more research after I heard it again on the radio. Listened to Space Dementia after that, fell in love.
MartianSpaghettiRider Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 It was 2001/2002, and I was just 8/9 years old. TV was broadcasting a spot of a new Roberto Cavalli's perfume, starring Nina De La Fuente and a snake in the middle of a desert... with Micro Cuts blasting as its soundtrack! <3 <3

Guessing not
Dockertae Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 First Muse song I heard would have been Plug in Baby, most likely on Kerrang in 2001.
