Jemma
blissss. I saw the video when it came out and remember watching it to see why he was falling. I can't remember if I actually liked the song back then though.
Tasha_
I think I had probably heard Time is Running out and Hysteria without actually knowing who Muse was, but in 2006, I heard Space Dementia and I immediately loved the piano. That was when it all started for me

Shrinking Universe
2001: a tape with NB, PiB, Bliss, Darkshines, and some more OoS stuff on there, can't remember in which order. Somehow, I thought "is this satanic or are they taking the piss?" May have been due to Micro Cuts and Darkshines? One week later I was sold. pooja
I wrote lyrics, poems and was my best in my early 20's the boyfriends I was dating at the time inspired my creativity. Now I don't write as much so I have lost my touch. Maybe they were my muse. _______________________________________________________ Self Certified Buy To Let Mortgage authorize.net gateway

Clunge
Bliss, Plug In Baby, New Born and Dead Star transformed me into a rabid fan. My mate introduced me to Sunburn and Muscle Museum a few months beforehand, but I didn't pay much attention.
Wolsten_homie
Time is Running Out popped my Muse cherry Apparantly my friend heard Starlight, loved it, downloaded ALL of their songs (she does that a lot...), listened to Micro Cuts, and then deleted all of the songs
Mozza
Muscle Museum. New Born and Plug In Baby where the first two I really took any notice of in 2001. Free CD's given away with Kerrang
Buxomflirter Queef
Distinctively remember Muscle Museum cause I was awarded with a nice slap from my brother when I was beating the rhythm with the dishwashing brush (=foan everywhere ) But as he was playing the whole cd it would technically have been Sunburn. Euryale
I thought the first (and only) song I heard was Supermassive Black Hole. That was until I purchased Absolution and realized that I know Stockholm Syndrome backwards and forwards. I have no idea how I know it or where I heard it. I never listen to the radio and I live in an area where they play only country music. So if anybody has a clue to this mystery I am in your debt forever. Natural_Disaster
Knights of Cydonia was the first one I really noticed, but when I listened to BHAR for the first time I realised I'd heard Starlight and SMBH as well.
maxswe
my cousin introduced me to muse back in 2005. first song was stockholm syndrome! But he should have introduced me earlier! he's one of them lucky showbiz people
Bliss :)
I think the first Muse song I listened to knowingly was New Born, since my first album was OOS and assuming I played it from the beginning. Though of course I could have heard songs before and not remembered them or realised they were Muse.
Dominic.
TIRO video on Kerrang, at the time it was my favourite song and loved it whenever it came on but never remembered the band, only got the album a year after that. I remember hearing stuff like the hysteria bassline in various places and thinking that's cool but who the hell is it by?
