There's so much from Muse that stand out. 2:16 to 2:30 in MK Ultra, the beginning of Butterflies and Hurricanes/Map of the Problematique/Take a Bow/In your world, 1:57 in City of Delusion when it goes quiet and then it kicks in again. And one of my faves the 'siren' sound at the beginning of the Plug in Baby live at Wembley. Dontcha mean 2.16-2.40? for me anyway. -The swallow in Map Of Your Head -The sound of the mic being moved in the demo of Sober I haven't heard that version! Where'd you find it? I can't wait until this thread is so long that it includes every note of Muse's complete discography, and every recalled live moment. This. The guitar solo in Newborn. I like how Matt's voice overlays at the end of Megalomania. Sooo many and can't remember grr and it was already mentioned but when Matt sings so high its hard to understand him, it makes a loud room shut up and listen lol But I have to say what I love the most in little moments is that no one instrument used out ways the other, or band member for that matter. They aren't just a heavy guitar band, or heavy on drums, or bass. Its a mix. Like how SMBH or TIRO are heavy on the beat and songs like Uno are more on the guitar side. I love the bass line for Resistance all the way through, but that part in particular. And the 'we could be wrong' bit. I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet but the WAOOOOOOH! in the groove is fucking awesome! +1. The random noices Matt makes during Dead Star, and the backing vocals in the chorus. The guitar bit in Starlight which can be heard when Matt starts singing "My life, you electrify my life" The last "I wish I could" in Stockholm Syndrome 1st one: Yes, yes, yes. Those things, and the guitar riff are what makes Dead Star so 2nd one: Love it. 3rd one: I love it when Matt screams or shouts lyrics. Just sounds really cool, for some reason. -The end of Muscle Museum, the singing that's been distorted to sound like the guitar.
