Then direct. Tell me who to call who I haven't already called. It would be helpful!

From what I can tell, the promoter is the real culprit. I think in most cases for this tour it is Live Nation. They control the ticket distribution. They "give" tickets to the band, Ticketmaster, the venue, etc, etc. Each of these entities can do with them what they want (i.e Give them to guests, employees, etc.) Since these tickets are handed out before the general and pre-sales, they are usually good seats. But, more and more they seem to be selling them into the secondary ticket market and taking a cut of the profits. The only loser in this whole situation is the fan.

It's not LiveNation for MSG. My friend works for them and I checked. Ticketmaster is not giving me the name (not 'privy' to the information) of the promoter for the even so I'm in a bit of a rut at the moment.

are there any other tricks to beating the scalpers? I only wnat one ticket, and I can't believe I haven't gotten one yet

The best bet is to just be ready to go whenever the tickets are released.

I will warn you not to ride the F5 key on the Ticketmaster website. They will IP ban you for 15 or so minutes if you reload too many times and/or too quickly.

I wonder if b/c this was the only presale today, the "hiding" scalpers were able to focus their energies on grabbing tickets from this 1 show, unlike the other days which had multiple shows and ticket release times ... still don't have any tickets :supersad:

hey and don't forget my post about publishing codes here! scaaaaaalpers!

there is at least __130__ tickets for sale on stubhub already

<goes off to find a lesser known band to worship> *hahaha

uh

i dont see it...

link please?

Well on the presale site where it says "Presale Sold Out", every 10 minutes the "Buy Now" link appears and takes you to a verification page, and then a page to select the tickets. That's where you select the $50 or $60 tickets. Currently you have to be the fastest gun in the west to get tickets.

Then you can call me Quick Draw McGraw (that was lame, I know). Luckily I type fast and didn't mess up the security word I guess because I got my 4 GA tickets on the first try at 1.

GO HOOSIERS!
