jdog44
If you look at the way the presale is set up, they only have links to any presale that is for the 15th. Since our presale isn't until the 17th I suspect that the link for it won't show up until late on the 16th or on the 17th. Basically, don't worry about not seeing the link there. Since there are 14 shows I'm sure they just didn't want to have a long list of presale links and confuse people. So pumped for this though! 87 days left! HyperAssassin
I cannot wait for this show! I "discovered" Muse in 2003 and slowly came to realize they are my favorite band. I would definitely be down for an afterparty, but gotta warn ya...I am probably older than the average poster on here (I am the same age as Matt Bellamy). They really are brilliant. I was so fortunate to meet them in 2000 (in Wisconsin, of all places) and have been a fan ever since. I'm ashamed to say this, but I've been across the world a couple of times, yet I've never actually been to Chicago. Should be an amazing weekend

jdog44
I'm sad to say that I only heard of Muse in late 2007 by which time they had already played Lollapalooza. I can't believe they were around for SO LONG and I just heard of them 2 years ago. I'm excited that they are finally coming back. Hopefully there is a good crowd and it sells out so they can warm up to the idea of coming around here more often. I read somewhere that they sold out San Fran back in 2003 and had a really good time there and for that reason always make it back there (and always sell out their shows). We should do this in Chicago! This will be my first time seeing them. I'm hoping they have shows close by (maybe in Indiana or Wisconsin) so I can catch them a couple of times before Wembley next year! And 31 (or any age for that matter) isn't old ! I'm 25 and dont' want to hear that in 7 years I'll be considered old
cincybearcat
We are both 31 Hahaha..I was right. I've always felt like an old fart at all of the Muse shows I've been to...except my very first in one in 2000 when they opened up for the RHCPs and Foo Fighters. But, I don't really care...I am dying to see them and will be right there in the middle of it all!
Epona99
Hey Guys!!! Who is going to this show? Just wanted to start a thread about it so we can get pumped... 88 days left and couting!!! Me! DAMNIT I wanted them to come to Minnesota! But I guess Chicago's not terribly far... that would have been better for me obviously, but at least I have family in Chicago, so free accommodations:D don't know if that makes it easier or harder to try to find a potential afterparty Hahaha..I was right. I've always felt like an old fart at all of the Muse shows I've been to...except my very first in one in 2000 when they opened up for the RHCPs and Foo Fighters. stand next to me and you can feel very young still leaning towards a GA ticket, I'm in good shape:D

Pistol Star
We all need to show Matt, Dom and Chris that the people they'll play for in Chicago will make them want to come back again and again. They won't be able to get enough of us.

InnocuousBlonde
I am SO psyched they announced Chicago! I'm IN. I missed the opportunity to see Muse in Boston many years ago - since I was new in my fandom (and Garbage was playing Boston the same weekend), I opted out and missed it. I think I'm going to make a long weekend of this. Note to self: Block out work calendar for 3/12 tomorrow!

AND I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THIS! WTH!!!!!!!!! Your very lucky to meet them in Wisconsin out of all places. I'm def gonna be going to Chicago and Detroit. It's pretty cool to see there are actually some US Muse fans, a lot more than I thought. I'm so stoked! Sorry radio and MTV but MUSE is the GREATEST BAND OF ALL TIME! You best believe I will be singing, jumping, and fist pumping my ass off the whole entire night it'll be like a marathon! My head will probably explode after it all but lets hope that does not happen though

Aren't we the 3rd largest city in America? Lets get them to love it here! Btw, I don't know what i'll do if I don't get GA for this show... ah, i hope it doesn't amount to paying 2-3Xs face value on craigslist.... Does anyone know how hard its been to get seats at other cities? I was considering getting tickets for Detroit before they announced Chicago and I saw that they were available for a while but other cities went super quick.
