I was the one who heard it on the radio. Matt Pinfield announced it on RXP this morning. He said listeners of the station would have a presale this Thursday, while the general tickets would go on sale Saturday.

Now we just wait. In the past I've gotten an email with a code a day or two before the actual presale. I haven't gotten anything yet; they might be waiting until its officially announced by the band or ticketmaster.

i never been to a muse show before so heres a dumb question.

how is the stage set up, is it like an end stage? is there GA?

The stage for the euro tour has been at the end but it is possible to set it up as an island stage..

There should be GA yeah :) Although you never know..

Was travelling the states earlier this year and went to a couple of blink gigs...the one in hershey, PA had all seating..which is pretty poor if you ask me

Excuse me for a dumb question-But I have never bought tickets from the actual bands pre-sale so how does that work, is it just like a code you get to type in?

Damn, I'm on call...

Last time they played MSG, it was an end stage with a smallish GA area and floor seats behind that. I recorded what was the most amazing SS Outro I have seen, you can see it on veoh.com with my same username (can't post a link; at work, video sites are blocked....)

Have fun! Now for those Seattle/Portland dates...

This website seems to confirm:

http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2009/12/muse_touring_w.html

UK rock band Muse will headline (for the second time) Madison Square Garden in NYC on March 5th. Recent grammy nominees Silversun Pickups are lined up to open the show. Tickets go on sale Saturday, though there will be pre-sales even sooner. The show is part of an about-to-be-announced tour that includes a show the very next day at TD Garden in Boston. All currently known dates below.

According to Consequence of Sound, Muse is also playing Coachella.

"According to a source with knowledge of the festival's plans, Muse will serve as a headliner for the Indio, CA event, set to take place from April 16-18. This will mark the British outfit's first appearance at Coachella since 2004 and will come amidst what will likely be a summer chock-full of tour dates in support of the band's most recent effort, The Resistance.

A separate source confirms that both Hot Chip and The xx will make room in their recently announced U.S. tour and also appear. These latest additions join Devo, Craze & Klever, and As Tall As Lions, all of which have been previously confirmed by other Internet outlets.

Keeping the fun going, Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, The Avett Brothers, and Pavement are all heavily rumored, while Tegan & Sara, Spacemen 3, Pretty Lights, Cornelious, and Imogen Heap are among the others currently appearing on our Coachella Outlook page."

I'd love to go back to NY, especially to see Muse :awesome: And it's 4 days after my 16th birthday :chuckle:

But the chances of us going is zero.

:(

I was thinking the same! My birthday's in March to, so it would make a wicked 21st present. :p I <3 New York so much! This time last year I was there. :(
