Yes any help is appreciated. What we really need is a time, place to meet, intel on where to effectively stalk them after wards :chuckle: and maybe a place to go after. :happy:

 

I definitely want to meet some of you guys! But yeah, if most of us are getting GA tix, then afterwards would be better. But hopefully some of us could also meet in line maybe? I'll probably be by myself and anxious for company.

 

And yeah, maybe I'm a pathetic fangirl, but I wanna at least try to meet the band after. I'm really not sure how to go about that. It seems like sometimes they don't emerge for hours or something. So I don't know how that would affect a meetup.

 

I'm in Atlanta, but I don't know that area AT ALL. The venue is about 30-40 minutes north of the city. I know Pam (Paemchen) lives fairly near the venue, so maybe she will have some ideas.

 

Edit: And yeah, when I say "meet the band," I mean stalking as well. :LOL::$

I would love to try to meet the band, but I'm not sure how keen on the idea (staying that late after the show) my parents would be, :rolleyes:. But it looks like I may be driving myself, so it might not be a problem. I will inform if I can meet up and co-stalk.

If they don't announce the date at all it'll be real easy to get tickets. :rolleyes: but in the past announcements have been around 10-11 east coast time since I'm always in class or at work being annoyed that it's another European show or French girls meeting Matt. :supersad: someday... someday... it will be me on his twitpic!

Ooh! I hope that one's for us! Fingers crossed.

 

So, I do live reasonably near the venue. The stuff in the area that I can think of is around Discover Mills mall. Restaurants and such. We may want to meet at a place like that instead of a bar, because not everyone will be 21, I think. I'll try to get out there soon and see what's out there. I have a friend who lives about 5 minutes away, so she may be able to help.

 

My bump-on-a-log husband will be there, so I probably won't be doing any band meeting. :( Justin's really into Muse, but he's the guy who just stands there watching and not jumping around. He's pretty shy. I told him after the Muse/U2 show I didn't want to do GA tix again, because I have a crappy back. But now, of course, I want GA. I wonder if he's going to remind me of what I said. Sigh.

oh goody, presale on Thursday, that makes things easier for me. Right now, it looks like the ticket price isn't varying at all, surely they aren't charging $48.50 for the upper levels.

Hmm... I go to Atlanta all the time even though it's a 3/half hour drive to see shows but I don't know any great spots that are open late and safe. Haha that was zero help. We should all just meet when we try to meet the band after the show. I might be going to another show earlier next year so I could scout the building to try and see where we should go to find them- I'm gonna scout the building anyway but now I'll report on it :LOL:

I do like this plan very much :)

 

I can't quite remember too clearly, doesn't the arena have a long entrance you have to drive though from the street? which would mean if we wait for GA before the show, bathroom and food runs would be extremely difficult :(

This is the one thing I was thinking about. There is nowhere convenient to go use the restroom that I remember.

oh no... that is really going to suck..

I wish they could have portables like U2 had!

If you go with a friend and drink little you should just leave the line about a hour before they let you in and there should be a bathroom within 5 minutes at least back where you park. If your going alone make friends with the people in line and explain your plan early on and ask them to hold your spot. If your nice and not annoying they'll let you go.

I just heard on 99x their presale is tomorrow! I can't find a place to email them!!

 

Edit: the website says Friday. But you know what would save a flip load of trouble- an announcement from Muse- bastards.

haha oops, actually i think i made the color of the font white when i would post, not realizing that it would come out white regardless hehe :LOL:

I think there are a few fast food and gas stations. It might be a long walk from the line but we did it in Raleigh.
