ramadhan is more than just fasting actually. it's a month for prayers and forgiveness. so we have extra prayers to do at night, recite the Quran and everything. a very spiritual month.

raya is according to miele (2007) :

i read that radiohead bit in the star newspaper, and i'm really shocked! are they really THAT big to be able to sell a record for any price at all? have i been so oblivious to radiohead's success all this while?

 

they are HUGE and not really money oriented. they once played somewhere in europe and gladly paid a 2000 pound ( or more i cant remember) fine to play well after the designated time coz their fans asked for more! u can see that they're in this business purely becoz of music.

am not suggesting like a hardcore-waiting-outside-their-hotel-or-following-'em-around- level of stalking here.. coz that's just.. weird. but unless if there's any contest where u'll win a meet and greet chance with the band, u'll just have to find another way to meet the band- i.e. stalking 'em at the airport.

really? i've done countless of nazars ranging from "please god please, if the lecturer doesn't pick me to answer question number 3, i'll belanja this guy beside me air sirap" to "I'll smile to my mother 5 times a day every day for a week if I managed to find my way out of Subang (i was ditched alone at that time with only RM 7 bucks to go back to Ampang)" to the normal "I'll puasa for 7 days if I get straight As"..

 

so i'm guessing unless it's not directly contradictory to your religion, nazar can be done for anything.. (for that reason, unless er, muse is somehow contradictory to Islam, then I don't see why nazars for muse to come to malaysia shouldn't work).

 

But if in doubt, sometimes I just sing "please, please, please, let me get what i want" aloud lots of time, to the annoyance of everybody else.

 

Maybe they take interest in young Asian boys.

belanja that guy sirap is not nazar! i agree with u, but her point was that a concert and music are kinda 'lagha' things, u noe things that make u skip ur prayers or an event / place that'll make u forget ur islamic principles and stuffs.. but i guess, it all depends on that person her/himself la rite. i mean, i want muse to come coz i enjoy and appreciate their music and it wont make me forget myself and do things which are against our religion at their concert. it'll make me go mental about 'em, but never to the extend of forgetting my principles of being a muslim. but for some people, secular (esp rock) music and religion just cannot be mixed. i basically nazar for everything too. i even nazar for france to at least get to the semifinals in the previous world cup and thank god they reached the finals!

yeah.. i think u dont need a visa if u are travelling from an ASEAN country to another. it means u dont need a visa to come to malaysia as well illuminatist. i've been to bali before, and there was no need for a visa. so.. that's another plus point of travelling to bangkok than oz or nz for a muse gig. but i didnt noe that japan and other non SEA countries that are listed on the website u've given need not to have a visa to go to thailand.

 

and hey, i just checked muse wiki, somehow they've deleted that argentina gig fromm that tour list.

chris is the only one so far who got a 'stache.. and i reaaally really like it lol. so far, Matt and Dom only got a little stubble, or they went for the scruffy look, and not really a full grown beard. its hard to see it on Dom cause his hair is blondish/brown, you see.

oh btw guys, i think i subconsciously hope that Muse is coming to Malaysia. haha i had a dream about them! i dreamt that they came and played at a MALL (wtf) and i had no idea they were playing there in the first place, until i was watching this 'live broadcast' of them on a blimp. crazy_mary and shannaz was with me, and they were both reluctant to go (i have no idea why), so i just went off without them to the gig at the mall. but once i reached there, it was over they were signing autographs in a neat line, so i just waited in line. the thing is, i brought absolutely no money, and they only signed merch and their albums, so i ended up stealing a little key chain from their merch store. once i was up in line, they said the keychain was too small to sign (obviously), so they signed my shirt instead! yay! i got pics and a hug and then.... i woke up. meh.

 

with all this muse-coming-to-asia talk, anyone got any dreams of em yet? haha i love it when i have dreams of em
