Lizzie_loves_Muse Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Well I believe it's Matt's turn to choose the support acts. LADY GAGA PLZ BBZ <3
Peroxide Pixie Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Why everyone says Lady Gaga???? Her music is boring and she should support Britney Spears and singers like that, not MUSE for Christ sake. A pop singer supporting a Progressive rock band? WTF? Seriously:rolleyes: I want guitar music, not something else that is not this genre. She has a rock band backing her up when she plays live......maybe you should lighten up
Killer Rabbit Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Is it wrong to hope the remaining members of Queen come out on stage for one of the Wembley gigs? Just imaging Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon up there with Matt, Dom & Chris makes my mind hurt (but extremely happy). The Rock Gods would be appeased that night.
MrsP Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 The fact that they are spending so much time hanging out with Lily Allen is a bit worrying. I really, really hope this doesn't mean that she'll be one of the support acts.
eneyeseekay Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 Dom seems to be liking Justice atm, maybe they'd get them =] And GaGa would be damn cool too ^^
LiT Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 She has a rock band backing her up when she plays live......maybe you should lighten up Still shit and too light.
Interzone Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Lily Allen named as one of the support acts for Wembley, since she'd probably end up being there anyway...
GSMU7 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 For some reason i gotta a feeling the killers would be one of the support acts. That would be epic!!!
vinyl dragon Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Think the support should be U2.. Don't like them but it would be a great time to go and get beer
vinyl dragon Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 For some reason i gotta a feeling the killers would be one of the support acts. That would be epic!!! yeah it would bigtime, but they've just kinda retired - a bit :-(
Hat Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 yeah it would bigtime, but they've just kinda retired - a bit :-( Haha what? They are working on a new album and are still on the road? They cancelled like 3-4 shows, that's all.
Natural_Disaster Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Haha what? They are working on a new album and are still on the road? They cancelled like 3-4 shows, that's all. Yeah, they cancelled 5 Asian shows because of serious illness of a family member. I think they're taking a break, but they're working on new material and Brandon Flowers has said that their new album will be their heaviest yet. So, The Killers would be Also, Lady GaGa, Florence and the Machine, Biffy, Lostprophets, all would be awesome
bellapod Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 So long as it isn't the last lot that supported them at the O2, I don't mind who comes along!! I can't stand the thought of another bloody laser show in the eye. I felt sorry for people either side of the stage who were treated to what could be described as laser eye surgery for the cost of a Muse ticket. Mind you, I vote Dresden Dolls cause they've got spunk!
Obi Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Lol Paramore would be absolutely epic. As would You Me At Six. Or Kids in Glass Houses. If I had to choose one, it'd be Kids in Glass Houses. Please no to any crappy scene pop band.
Clunge Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Kids In Glass Houses are so utterly shit, it's unbelievable, same goes for Paramore. C'mon people, be realistic. Last time, the biggest acts were The Streets and My Chemical Romance so based on that, and how certain bands have moved on since, I'd say some of these are candidates: Biffy Clyro Delphic Editors Florence & The Machine Kasabian The Subways Supergrass Vampire Weekend I reckon they're all plausible support acts, Kasabian might consider themselves a bit too big now to support but we'll see.
trogette Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 C'mon people, be realistic. Aww, do we have to? Bloody party pooper...
WutDaFucksy Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Yeah I love the way people actually think bands like U2 and The Killers will support Muse
rawrsomesauce Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 MCR supporting again would be so much lolz.
JoeFranklin Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Wolfmother! Matt's a fan of theirs too, and they're awesome live!
Sian1994cc Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Pendulum, Franz Ferdinand Coldplay (I can dream) Keane?
bellapod Posted January 25, 2010 Posted January 25, 2010 Pendulum, Franz Ferdinand Coldplay (I can dream) Keane? Oh dear God, Not Keane
vinyl dragon Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Yeah, they cancelled 5 Asian shows because of serious illness of a family member. I think they're taking a break, but they're working on new material and Brandon Flowers has said that their new album will be their heaviest yet. So, The Killers would be Also, Lady GaGa, Florence and the Machine, Biffy, Lostprophets, all would be awesome Know it's hijacking a bit but thats damn good news, it was just reported on the (TV) news that they were 'taking a break, but not actually spltting' that was all they said. Just goes to show you should never believe the crap on the TV.. So Killers please!!
