It doesn't matter if Feeling Good is out of place, because Screenager has already ruined the flow. It's an awesome song(on piano), but it really doesn't fit after Micro Cuts. Good things about the album - the combination of the sound showbiz had and all the experimentation, distortion, and different instruments being used. bass being the driving force in many of the songs. the creativity. Bad things about the album - it's raw and not as technical as later muse albums, HOWEVER... that works in their favor sometimes on this album. the order of the songs isn't that great. it doesn't flow that well. Best track - new born. i feel it defines that album, along with citizen erased. Worst track - screenager. it's the least appealing to me, but it's not BAD. Favourite moment - too many to mention. the "for one momeeeennnnttt..." in CE. the scratching, distorted sound in the beginning of "hyper music". the riff in.... well the riffs in all the songs. piano in "new born". "feeling good"... makes me feel good. falsetto in "micro cuts". "bliss" is bliss. "darkshines" is sexy. PiB (especially that riff) is epic. Dark Shines is alright, Screenager is boring, Feeling Good is too generic and lame. Megalomania is great, however. Aussie Muser Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 Here's my short review... 5/5 stars Good things: Raw, edgy and not mainstream at all. Completely blows your socks off. Bad things: Production is not perfect and sometimes quite poor. Has a slight lull towards the end but still kicks arse. Favourite track: New Born but it is fucking close between that, Citizen Erased and Space Dementia and pretty close between SD and Bliss. Least Favourite track: Feeling Good Favourite moment: The riff in New Born - absolutely immense. Best to worst: 1. Newborn bee's dick 2. Citizen Erased bee's dick 3. Space Dementia 2 bees' dicks 4. I really don't think I am capable of explaining why this album deserves 5 stars... Songs from best to least best: 1. Megalomania 2. Citizens Erased 3. Space Dementia 4. Screenager 5. Bliss 6. Micro Cuts 7. Darkshines 8. Hyper Music 9. New Born 10. Plug in Baby 11. Feeling Good All of them are pretty much my favorite songs from Muse. I love the guitar, bass, and piano riffs in each of the songs and how I can blast these songs up and just sing them like nuts. Definitely songs to rock out too. The bad things about the album is that a lot of the songs I can't understand the lyrics so it really pisses me off that I can't sing to them.
