People usually hear their music before they know what the band members look like. I don't think people see a picture of Muse, think they're hot and buy their albums and join the board and go crazy in the PMT, PDT and PCT.

 

So after they hear their music and love it, they see what they look like and then the fan-girl thing is just a little bit of fun.

 

And it's not Muse's fault they're so good looking.

That's why the forum is divided into sections "Songs and Releases" is for spaffing over the music, "Other Muse Topics" has been conquered by spaffing over the guys. I know it gets creepy sometimes, but it's just having a bit of fun and for those people it's one of the "pulling forces" of this forum. That's just the way it is.

yeah, sorry if i was a bit ranty before just been in this sort of debate before about girls lusting over the band. i mean what they look has no bearing on their music at all cos they have such incredible musical genius, its just a happy coincidence ppl find them attractive.

I'm a fangirl and not ashamed of it! I love Muse for the awesome music (didn't have any idea of what the guys looked like for months after I started to listen to their music), but I have every right to be a fangirl if I want to! I can't help it that they're all great looking guys.. but also its just the music. I can't help but to keep coming back to Muse. They have a large sound for just the three of em' and I love their ambition. Not many hard rock bands would put a symphony on the album, and its things like that which really have me going nuts over this band. They're different than most. and quite simply, the three of them are really quite fascinating in each of their own respects. Sure I may come off fangirly from time to time, i can't help it!

Well when I first saw Matt I though he was fuck ugly (no that's harsh, I just thought he was odd looking) But I listened to more and more of the music and found out about the band members themselves and now I am not ashamed to say I am now slightly fangirlish.

Yeah that pretty much proves the point that we're not in it for their looks. Cause we carried on listening to the music even though we didn't find them attractive at all (well I didn't) and then over time they became more attractive to me. I don't give a fuck that Matt is 31, he's damn hot. And if girls my age can swoon over George Clooney (who is nearly 50) then I can swoon over Matt

I eventually rhymed them with their instruments - with Estonian pronunciation Chris-bass and Dom-trumm (aka drum) rhyme veeery well. And from that moment I remembered their names and instruments.
