dwydav
I learnt how to play the triangle properly. There are many different ways... *strokes chin in a sagely fashion* I reckon the triangle is a pathetic instrument which was found by accident, but thats just my opinion
Tracee
I reckon the triangle is a pathetic instrument which was found by accident, but thats just my opinion You are so wrong. There is so much skill involved in the playage of the triangle. Thank you Beastly One. Not up for being the eye candy of the group who does nowt but shake her arse - anyway I think the lads are actually serious about this
ADAM
Got: Bod on piano Me on drums Simno on Guitar MuseMatt on bass Tracee on Triangle Crazy Bob on mixing/editing/mastering Need: matt bellamy sound-a-like backing (if necessary) Anyone up for singing?....anyone at all? Tracee
Bless you Adam for humouring me I would offer to sing but I'm a lass. Does mean I can hit the Matthew notes easily, but I still sound obviously lady. Microphone's awful anyway. I do remember someone posting a thread singing a cover of Unintended (I think) on piano and he had a great voice.. Anyone know who that was? I can pull off a decent matt bellamy rip off if you want! EDIT: I can sing unintended pretty easily if that helps to get an idea of what I can do.I can even do Microcuts without it sounding more whiney than it already is! Got: Bod on piano Me on drums Simno on Guitar MuseMatt on bass Tracee on Triangle Crazy Bob on mixing/editing/mastering dwydav on matt bellamy sound-a-like Need: backing (if necessary) Backing??? Simno did u wanna do that? Or kazzie? Right! So we nearly have our 'band'. Next step, which song/songs do we do. If we all pick a song (Tracee included) then we will have 8 songs to do. I am up for doing Stockholm Syndrome (Live Version).

Tracee
Hmm.. I would love to hear New Born, but that's because I love the guitar solo. I don't think it's very difficult to sing either, which is a plus. Glad Stockholm is a given

matthijs
mm.. stockholm.. pretty damn hard to play on the bass but new born and sunburn are one of my favourites to do
dwydav
Execution commentary.. just for the laugh nah.. I'd be up for Hyper Chondriac Music. a good old Bside tht no one seems so like very much. that way who ever is on the guitar cn mess around with the fuzz factory, drums is a nice slow heavy thing, we can add some piano arpeggios to make it sound even better a la Stockholme Syndrome. EDIT: great thing with doing vocals is that I get to wait until everyone has recorded their parts until I ca put the vocals on :p:p EDIT 2: PLEASE let us do showbiz someone! ADAM
sounds nice, bod will be pleased with his piano roll Exactly....thats why if we all put one song in we can all play our fav song! Current Status: Got: Bod on piano Me on drums - Stockholm Syndrome Simno on Guitar MuseMatt on bass - Sunburn Tracee on Triangle - New Born dwydav on matt bellamy sound-a-like - Hyper-Chondriac Music Crazy Bob on mixing/editing/mastering and Beast Love on Moral Support / Marketing - the tom kirk of the group Need: backing (if necessary) Should it be done in this order?:- * Me record drums - I send to Crazy Bob and MuseMatt * MuseMatt records bass to drums and sends to Crazy Bob * Crazy Bob mixes two tracks and sends final to Simno and Bod who record their parts and send them back to Crazy Bob. * Crazy Bob then adds those tracks to the final and this gets sent to dwydav and Tracee who record their parts, sends them to Bob and we get the final piece? ??? dwydav
sounds like the right way to go! so whats the setlist?
Tracee
Insert the word "imaginary" somewhere around the word "Tracee" and that sounds like a good plan. I would love to contribute with my triangle, but my dinosaur age microphone is truly awful. Does everyone have good enough software to pull this off? Can't wait to hear the end results! ADAM
I have a £10 mic from argos that I'll be recording a whole drumkit with!!!! With a bit of audio tweaking it'll be fine. I have n-track studio, something like that would be fine. As long as you can add new tracks to an existing one and then mixdown the whole song to make it one it should work fine. ....(I assume Crazy Bob has something like this?!?!?!)....
