Frakkles
Henry, do you have a hard on for Exogenesis? Cos in comparison to what was expected, it was a dung heap. The Symphony is my least favourite part of the album.
FearAndPanic
^ Even though they're capable of much more, I'd love Cross Pollination live. Redemption's great every now and then, not too bothered about it live, might as well be 3 for 3 though.
forevermusic
Sorry, kept thinking of Glasto' 04 It took me a while to get it in my head Absolution was an 03 release so its understandable. And Exo is good but a slightly underwhelming proposition to what I thought it would be... Redemption is a beautiful track though.

Undisclosed Desires is an ok pop song but nothing special. I'm not saying that Exogenesis was BAD but by Muse standards they could have accomplished SO much more. It was a big let-down in my opinion. Though I do love The Resistance. I guess in the end it's all down to taste. The Resistance is the only Muse album I'd be glad to hear in it's entirety. It's the only album where I at least like every single song.

Really can't stand the 'stadium songs' they've gone for on The Resistance (Resitance and Guiding Light) and not keen on the silliness of USoE and I Belong to You (well the french bit)

Really can't stand the 'stadium songs' they've gone for on The Resistance (Resitance and Guiding Light) and not keen on the silliness of USoE and I Belong to You (well the french bit) Again, like I said, it's all down to personal opinions. I really like Guiding Light as a song, the lyrics suck ass but the backing is awesome and it sounds good live. Resistance is probably the song I like the least off that album. It's just a bit drab for my liking. I Belong To You is Endlessly done right with the right amount of cheese. USOE is just a great song if looked at in the way it SHOULD be looked at, as a fun, grandiose, Queen-esque romp. It's a big song and they pull it off REALLY well live, especially considering how badly it could have gone.

I Belong To You was great live (although I don't fully agree about the Endlessly comment). United States of Eurasia is also great live. Given that Muse are too lazy/don't want to play their best piano songs, IBTY and USOE are just fine, as long as we don't have to hear Feeling Good anymore.
