Razorwing
KOC was the first song I learned. I pretty much saw HAARP and slowly followed what he played on screen.lol. to my surprise it worked out quite well. Then I learned Hysteria, SMBH and New Born. Then since my guitar was in drop D, I then learned Stockholm Syndrome.. my god that was very hard lol. I'm still working on it. And if you are gonna ask if I had lessons.. well nope. I have been playing for a year now.. so it's been quite a ride.. Gonna start learning Guiding Light soon. What a heavenly song .
Natural_Disaster
Thanks for everyone's help. I'm going to try KOC and PIB a bit later as they seem to be the most common answers, although I guess everyone is different. Thanks again!
Firu
for the 'F' which is the only barre chord I use my thumb to hold down the bottom E string and damp the high E string haha my old guitar tutor would've killed me if i did that and bliss is dead easy too
_Ed_
KOC is definitely a good suggestion. Even I can play that.

Doog
The Stockholm Syndrome riff is not particularly a simple riff the speed is more of a problem for beginners than the complexity
Russell_A
the speed is more of a problem for beginners than the complexity and all those ppl saying "You dont need to play the open D..."

the_man361
not stockholm syndrome. intro, from absolution is probably the easiest song to play. though the chorus is tricky.
dontask
i think KOC guitar line (exluding the outro) without the tremolo picking was the first thing i learnt. yes please is easy, ashamed outro, uprising is doable, erm, i learned bedroom acoustics quite early since i started on acoustic, guess thats a no go. newborn riff is good for beginners. for none muse songs; Seven Nation Army, When September Ends, Sunshine of your Love. abomufc108
Newborn's opening guitar riff is quiet easy and sounds epic on acoustic guitar also Unnatural Selection is easy
JakeLulz
I started with a simplified version of KoC.(Intro was just single notes) Learned songs like One by metallica and seven nation army. Then when i started to dabble with acoustic guitar i learned bits of unintended and then la bamba, which is very easy but sounds great Was a long time before i could play the stockholm syndrome riff properly, so steer clear of that lol. NoSurprisesPlease
I've been casually playing guitar for years, and I actually find playing Plug In Baby cleanly and accuratly quite difficult . The easiest to play is probably going to be Starlight. If you ignore trying to play the keyboard intro on guitar for a second, it's 90% powerchords. Carrotie
The first Muse song I learned on guitar was Supermassive, I think. That's quite easy
sam_jk
People are saying stuff that a total beginner couldn't do! I'd say the easiest is Uno (but still trickier if you are a no0b).

Hopix
Unintended is the easiest guitar song. Intro is quite difficult initially, but then the arpeggios and chords afterwards are piss.
Razorwing
Just learned Uprising.. it's quite easy actually. Once you get the rhythm down you'll be fine. Then comes the solo I'm still having problems with that but with time, it should be easy.

adds
yeh, haha i'd say the beginning is harder than the rest. how? its the easiest bit. just learn it slowly and repeat getting quicker and quicker each time. add some delay and reverb and hey presto you are a bedroom bellamy. edit: each person is different. e.g. i wont even go near unintended but it has been suggested on here. not trying to offend or argue for the sake of it. just me
weezul
I usually teach my students Unintended from the chord songbook, its a great intro to some nice open chords, and they can spend time learning a lot of standard chords and then move onto the more advanced ones at the end (although its just added bass notes)
