Showbiz has so many like: Sunburn, Unintended, Cave, Filip. The album is so underrated It has so much character and shows a lot about them and in to how they began. 1st: Showbiz Best: Sunburn & Muscle Museum Worst: Overdue. 2nd: Origin of Symmetry Best: Hyper Music & Citizen Erased Worst: Screenager. 3rd: Absolution / Black Holes. Best: Hysteria & Falling Away With You Worst: Intro. Best: City of Delusion & Supermassive Black Hole Worst: Soldiers Poem. 4th: The Resistance Best: MK Ultra & Undisclosed Desires Worst: Exogenesis (Overture). I TOTALLY agree showbiz is HIGHLY underated. For me it goes: 1. OOS 2. BH&R 3. SB 4. ABS 5. TR OOS has the raw power, emotion, energy and general craziness that will never be beaten. BH&R was the album that got me in to muse which is why it's high on the list. SB was the first muse album I heard thus my love for sunburn. It tears up the musical rulebook, and is as a result far and away the best. Absolution is a very good album if a little overblown or dull in places, with a couple of truly amazing songs. Then the rest are about even for me: Black Holes & Revelations has the best individual songs of the three, but is probably the worst overall album with some painful moments and no real flow. The Resistance is a good overall album, but lacks any amazing songs (and contains Guiding Light *shudders*). Showbiz has that great raw power and some amazing songs, but is also laughable in places. Although I kind of like that too. Probably my favourite of the 3, but for nostalgia as much as music. But if I threw in The Hullabaloo Soundtrack too, then it would probably just pip all three to third. Purely because it's so weird. And I like that. It was such a passionate time! So crazy! Also some of my favourite songs come from BH&R. I found it difficult to choose those in the middle!
