set list seemed to be same but the performance was better in toronto.

although i liked the smaller venue and the crowd in london better...

torontonians can be very snobby, not very receptive of the opening band.

but the koolhaus has good sound.

I haven't been on the boards in months but I just thought I'd give a little post after the Toronto show. Basically what I've been telling people about the show is that now I can die happily (except, of course, that I'd never get to hear the next album, but you get the idea...). In line for about 9.5 hours, front row centre, every song I could have asked for (especially MICRO CUTS)....it was perfect. And I really liked Evening too. I got Muse for my birthday! It was amazing.

"Hello Aryka,

We at Muse Messageboard would like to wish you a happy birthday today!"

Hah! I totally see it! That's you in the icon. Hardcore fans, man, we're the best of the best.

Where were you guys in the crowd?

We were directly in front of Matt against the barrier. You could tell where I was by the pictures I took here: http://photobucket.com/albums/v167/mljones11/

Tom nearly leaned on me a few times while he was taking pictures of Matt. I got his head in one of them.

Where were you?

I was there at the Toronto show myself, and tho to be hones't i didnt like the opener Muse blew me away in all ways. I thought Evenings had some great idea's but that there singer could have been, hmm.. well good?!? And that at points they just sounded like unorganised noise. (i realise thats was there point, but noise an dintelligent noise are different) my opinion.

As for Muse, i could say nothing bad about them....at all. It was perfection in motion. As ive said before, i went in someone and came out someone else. Inspiring and life changing, one of the best concerts i have ever seen easily! Twas my first muse show too, and i got more then i could have ever expected.

Small world. I think I said something to you or one of your friends... A health issue prevented me from arriving earlier in the day, I only joined allzpalz around 7pm.

I think I remember you! It is a small world.

I think your signature is due for an update

I went to the show in edmonton a few weeks ago. I was blown away. Only problem was I live an hour and a half away, so I couldn't even bask in the glory of it all, me and my friend had to leave right away. I was stuck up against the railing which wasnt so bad because it gave me something to lean on. But why was the under 18 section so small? there were quite a few people but we all seemed to get pushed up against the side, and I know from some other people that at other shows at reds there was a lot more room. But who really gives a damn, the entire night was awesome. :D

Anyways... Is no one from Montreal on here? That was my favourite show. I had a good view, away from people trying to beat me to a pulp, it was lovely. The band definitely seemed most into this show as well, we got the stage trashing (which happened in Toronto as well), and Chris did some crowdsurfing. The lights fucked up though and they couldn't do Microcuts (although it was meant to be part of the encore). EDIT: AND we got the balloons (that Ottawa got too). So happy about those balloons.

It's sad that it's over, and I totally slack when it comes to keeping up with this board.

Hey, I'm from Montreal. :D

Amazing show. I even got a poster signed by Matt and Chris at HMV, an hour before the show. The guys are really nice and seemed down-to-earth, but hey, how do I know, we chatted for a few minutes only. Couldn't get enough of their music in show, so we drove 8 hours to see them 2 days later in Philly. :D That one show was incredible. Better than Montreal. What made the difference? The room was seperated in two areas: under and over 21. For some reason, the kids' section was crowded while the beer section was fairly empty, so we could enjoy the show from the front, while sipping delicately on a cold beer, without spilling it all over the place and having our skin ripped off by 10-y-o groopies :p . sweet. plus, in Philly, the big white balloons were filled with confetties. Matt would smash them while playing. Good times.

I flew down from New Jersey to Orlando to see them but only got to see them once. I'll be sure to catch them more often next time around. In any case, I got to meet them backstage and that was a surreal experience.

It really was surreal...I got to talk to Dom, Chris (it was his birthday) and Matt. We took pictures together and they signed the Absolution cd cover.

They were really super guys to talk to and I had the time of my life.
