spawnholio
womanizer woma womanizer woma womanizer oh your a womanizer baby.... The sad thing is, a few so-called Muse fans know Britney Spears' song so well that they can compare it to Uprising. As a self-respecting Muse fan, I avoid any and all of B.S.'s music (funny how her initials are BS!).
nohopeinfear
No sign of the music video upto August 28ths' TV listings here in the UK. Channel 4 or 4Music generally get the new videos first so it's the best place to look But sadly nothing yet
static shadows
What happened to the cool end riff? (you can hear it on the "making of" in case you've no idea what i'm on about!)
Anxyous
What happened to the cool end riff? Maybe, they'll rock out and play it live
static shadows
Maybe, they'll rock out and play it live I'm sure they probably will bring it back for the live versions, but why did they take it off? The song really could have done with it at the end imo.

nohopeinfear
We all know that the making of a Muse album these days is just a template for them to play the songs live, where they really come alive.
Torque
We all know that the making of a Muse album these days is just a template for them to play the songs live, where they really come alive. Precisely. IMO, I won't have actually experienced "New Muse" until I see them playing these songs on tour. Unfortunately, as I'm Californian, that won't be till next year at the earliest. Jackstin
I disagree with that. Whilst Muse are known for their live work, when they write their records they no longer keep in mind how they will play it live. They keep the two disciplines very very seperate. Which is why the live vs. studio versions are always so different. That doesn't change the fact that many Muse fans are Muse fans because their music absolutely transforms itself live. -Invincible-
Watching Sportscene on BBC1 Scotland right now - shows highlights of the SPL. And guess what. Uprising was played in the background to some clips of Celtic game. I screamed like a little school girl.
Wingardium LevioSIA
Any murmurs about a video yet? I can imagine there will be one pretty soon. Something animated, along the lines of Linkin Park's video for Points of Authority, would be pretty cool. Or something else entirely.

Something animated, along the lines of Linkin Park's video for Points of Authority, would be pretty cool. Or something else entirely. every time i hear the song i get a sort of tiro video image in my head only sexier with women with red boas wrapping themselves around matts body dancing real sexily. If only there was a device to watch and record images your brain thinks me? It looks So cool it my head. The women year pinstriped tail jackets black bra's pinstriped hotpants top hat/bowler hat and canes but with boas in some parts. Dancing like in tiro. It looks sexy and awesome in my head

More precisely, I thought of his mOBSCENE video, or just about any of his other burlesque-themed videos. I can't picture Muse doing the same though

I was thinking more along the lines of TiRO blended with smbh to be honest. It looks awesome in my head if i had a computer rather than a phone i would try and explain myself clearer lol
Gemsy
Just got a chance to listen to it all the way through thanks to MuseCast Fucking, love it. I love how poppy it is. The fact the verses could be sung by Britney.
