that-girl-over-there
They want to be as good as Muse. They never will be anywhere close to as good as Muse I mean, they're British and they sing with American accents. AMERICAN ACCENTS! JESUS! The only reason I prefer them over Justin Bieber (and by prefer I mean hate less) is the fact that they're hot

that-girl-over-there
That's a great reason Well you can't exactly judge them on talent ... actually I guess you could, Justin Bieber is a better singer. Let's not get into discussions of One Direction and the likes though, this board seems to be the onyl place free of them Every type of music has it's place, but their place is not here

altbecky
I heard Madness and Uprising in one day on our local rock station. You guys have no idea how significant that is, since I live in backwoods, Idaho.
Marinator
During my English exam, I wrote "start over again" and Exogenesis Part III instantly started playing in my head. Put me off track completely :/
mimisail
My dad wrote an article for a magazine about telecommunication (it's his job) and he used the word "unsustainable". With Muse in mind he told me later

DifferentPerson
My dad is an extremely casual Muse fan (his favourite Muse song is Feeling Good) so I have decided to try and introduce him to some of their better songs. He has said in the past that he would like to have a "Best of Muse" album, but unfortunately one doesn't exist (not an official one anyway). So I have decided to try and make my dad a "Best of Muse" CD for his birthday I've tried to make a tracklist that covers their biggest hits as well as fan favourites. This is my attempt so far, what do you guys think? (The ??? are going to be songs from T2L that I will add when the album comes out) Here is the tracklist: DISC 1 1. New Born 2. Time Is Running Out 3. Stockholm Syndrome 4. Muscle Museum 5. Space Dementia 6. Hyper Music 7. Plug In Baby 8. ??? 9. Hysteria 10. Map Of The Problematique 11. Feeling Good 12. Starlight 13. ??? 14. Dead Star 15. Unnatural Selection 16. Bliss 17. Take a Bow DISC 2 1. Apocalypse Please 2. Uprising 3. ??? 4. Sing For Absolution 5. Citizen Erased 6. Micro Cuts 7. Butterflies & Hurricanes 8. Supermassive Black Hole 9. MK Ultra 10. Fury 11. Sunburn 12. Showbiz 13. Knights Of Cydonia 14. Glorious 15. Exogenesis: Symphony I've made some modifications to this... Disc 1 1. New Born 2. Alantie
The other day I was listening to Russian Dance and realised that my two fav bands do have a connection; they both use Tom Waits as an intro at their concerts. Never thought of that before. Haha. Wow been ages since I've been here on the boards btw.

Think I'd spaz out if I heard them on the radio . DowN here in Atlanta all they play is terrible rap and severely autotuned garbage. We don't have any pwoper rock stations anymore. that-girl-over-there
I never fully appreciated how awesome this forum is until I went on another one, found a Muse thread (old habits die hard ) and everyone was going 'stockholm sindrome kicks aas' and making other grammar and spelling mistakes and ughhh *shudder* I seriously love all you guys so much, this board is such a great place to be
serpentsatellite
There's a satellite radio station that always seems to play Uprising at the same time every morning, which happens to be right at the time my business opens. I always leave it running (my bosses get in after me) and then enjoy fantasizing about burning the building down before people get there.
JadeLovesMuse
I wore my 2nd Law jacket out shopping today and this guy came up to me, pointed at the logo and went "Muse, nice one." then walked off. He was pretty cool.
