Monkeychild
Is it hard to tab stuff out through gp etc. Whenever I've had a try I've given up because I get too confused by it all.. I get confused a lot.

haze015
Review of the EP - http://soundcloud.com/3rd-storey-chemist/sets/grapple-x I spoke to David Hazel of the 3rd Storey Chemist, and he said to me "You'd better not give this a good review. I want one of your trademark bastard reviews." First of all, I've never given a 'bastard' review. Honesty is not malice. Secondly, I don't know if it was some form of strange reverse psychology from the love child of John Lennon and John Major, but if it was, it worked. It's difficult to find too many bad words about this EP, it's just too listenable. Sticking to the turn of the century, ambient Warp records sound pioneered by Aphex Twin, Plaid and Autechre, but with pleasant nuances thrown in like bit-crushed leads and a couple of tracks that could be (Dare I say it?...) Dubstep. It rewards attention with near flawless production. But still the main thing I have to coming back to is the word 'listenable'. It really is perfect background music; in fact I'd listened to the whole thing 5 times without realising. So I'm sorry David but you may have to wait for your next output to receive a 'bastard' review because I enjoyed this a little bit too much. Cerpin
Did a quick recording/mix of my cock rock bands first song that we wrote together. It's just a funny side project trying to cash in on the obnoxious synth rock fad. http://simenruud.com/div/sinsmaster2.mp3 You're probably going to feel very indifferent to it, but at least it has handclaps and distorted bass. EDIT: Here's another track from the same session: http://simenruud.com/div/only13.mp3 EDIT 2: And a no-synth version of that track: http://simenruud.com/div/only13nosynth.mp3 EDIT 3: I forgot we also recorded a third RATM style song as well. Pretty shitty, though: http://simenruud.com/div/bugparty2.mp3 Edited November 10, 2009 by Cerpin
Apoplexia
Following "An Unnecessary Biography", my fourth album "Unlucky For Some" is now available. It's available on CD, through iTunes and on Amazon MP3 (Link coming soon). The album consists of twelve tracks, as well as a bonus track (which varies depending on the purchase source). You can hear 30-second previews on iTunes and on my site. I also have the full version of the track "Red Letter Day" available to listen to in the video on youtube, too. This album takes a lot of inspiration from the likes of Muse, Placebo, Madina Lake, Franz Ferdinand, and Ash, so if you're a fan of any of those, feel free check out my tracks on iTunes or my site! AidyCM
Chasing Melfina *clicky!* We've just finished recording an EP and completed a string of national dates- got loads planned for 2010!
