Kylee
This song needs more love. First Muse song i ever heard, still has that specialness that I can't seem to wear out The pino in the beggining...the chorus...the solo...what more can you ask for? I used to be so bored with this song, and then I watched the Absolution DVD and I was sold. This is really one of the best Muse songs, and it hits you hard in a different way than all of the "ballsier" Muse songs. The final minute is some of the best stuff Muse have ever done. It is definitely one of the best "ballads" the band has ever done. Much better than Blackout, Unintended, etc. Why isn't there enough appreciation? It surely deserves it. Obi
I feel like the only one who likes FAWY:LOL:. FAWY is a very nice song. I just find that it's very out of place on Absolution.
Kylee
I feel like the only one who likes FAWY:LOL:. FAWY is a very nice song. I seriously thought you guys meant FAWY as some sort of adjective to describe the song, only now did I realize that you meant Falling Away With You. I actually think that Blackout is certainly up there with S4A. The ending is just intense, as the distorted guitars rise up and complement the violins so nicely. That melody is amazing, as well. *OoS*
The 8-bit version on the 8-bit tribute is just <3 Like a chilled out, come down/sex song also like the swimming levels on Super Mario
rainingradioheads
I only realized how wonderful this song was a month or two ago. I'm not as much of a fan of the beginning, but after the second chorus it's just...wow. Sure, it's probably not up in the rankings with New Born, CE, or SS, but it's beautiful. Plus the single came with Fury.
ArrowSmith
I'm realizing that I love the live SFA much more then the studio cut. Particularly from Glastonbury & HAARP. Especially in HAARP, I like the guitar effects over the main melody line leading into the 2nd verse in the HAARP performance, I believe a new wrinkle. Matt is always doing things like that for the fans, to keep the music fresh.

I'd_Rather_Dance
Sing For Absolution is beautiful in so many ways. The verses are so seductive while the chorus is full of longing and resolve. The piano is what pulls it all together and the distorted guitar at the end shows that while the majority of the song may be slow and quiet compared to most of their songs, the meaning and emotion behind it is still as strong as any other "loud" song they have. This will always be a favorite of mine.

I love what Matt does with the guitar effects over the main melody line to heighten the drama.
