gary1203 Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 singing to the KOC remix I want you now~~~ I want you now~~~ (start trashing twilight books in the bookstore) ~~ give me your awesome lyrics (doesn't sound quite right )
Creeper McSexyPants Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Today, my Spanish teacher asked us if we would like to listen to a baseball song. We reluctantly agreed. My teacher then proceeds to play Supermassive Black Hole and the majority of girls in my class scream and proclaim Muse is their favorite. I, of course, was filled with anger. After the song completed, I noticed she was playing the CD "Black Holes & Revelations" rather than the Twilight soundtrack. She allowed the rest of the CD to play, explaining the political and Spanish influence in some Muse songs including Assassin and Exo-Politics. During these songs though (including MotP and Soldier's Poem) my classmates complained about how these songs sucked and were boring. They then asked to listen to All-American Rejects and Lady Gaga Though I could care less, I got to listen to Muse all class Have you ever had a Muse related story like this? Whether it be at school, work or everyday life? Please post! Sorry if this thread's been made
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I think this thread would relate to many of the Twilight threads (which have mostly turned into Twilight bashing threads) and possibly even "random musings in your life" or "You Know You're Addicted To Muse When..." I've had something a bit like that. My friend was playing some other Muse stuff for my friend who likes SMBH, but she said she liked it more when he sang higher. I'm thinking it's less the voice and more the song being in Twilight (the girl she was playing it for is a fanatic).

rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Those girls fail as does the rest of your class for hating on Muse Opinion.
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 That is correct Not yours, they are at perfect liberty to not like Muse and like what they like. I'm not saying it's fantastic music or anything, but you can respect that they like it just like people should respect what you like. Watch me break this rule in the next 5 minutes.

I'm not saying I don't respect them, I'm just saying i think they're wrong and its only natural to think your opinion is right.
Creeper McSexyPants Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Those girls fail as does the rest of your class for hating on Muse Fact.
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I'm not saying I don't respect them, I'm just saying i think they're wrong and its only natural to think your opinion is right. So basically you're saying you are right. Fact. No.
Creeper McSexyPants Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Well, I can understand how they didn't exactly appreciate Soldier's Poem. But to hate on MotP?! That's just pure blasphemy. Pure and simple.
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Well, I can understand how they didn't exactly appreciate Soldier's Poem. But to hate on MotP?! That's just pure blasphemy. Pure and simple. I didn't like MotP for a long time. Everyone has opinions.
Creeper McSexyPants Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I didn't like MotP for a long time. Everyone has opinions. Damn, you're just debby-downer aren't you?
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Damn, you're just debby-downer aren't you? Yes I am. I also enjoy arguing.
Ionnas Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Yes I am. I also enjoy arguing. That's why we love you, Taylor! Well, it is true that I didn't like MotP at first, some may just need to let the song grow on them. Like me: MotP is my favorite Muse song now. That must have been an awesome day for you!
rainingradioheads Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 That's why we love you, Taylor! Don't understand this at all. Meh. Just ignore me. I'm irritable.
church Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Don't understand this at all. Meh. Just ignore me. I'm irritable. You have to understand the mind of the average muser. We make Twighlight fangirls look somewhat normal. We're passionate and not afraid to speak out about our opinions of Muse. We always think we're right when it comes to Muse with no exceptions. Right or wrong thats the way it is.

Creeper McSexyPants Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 That must have been an awesome day for you! Great day actually. Too bad I couldn't fully enjoy the harmonies of my dear Muse from all the complaining. Did I add? Some girl explained how her favorite band was "The Muse".

Some girl explained how her favorite band was "The Muse". You could enjoy it by just ignoring them. Loads of people in my class who I know don't like me ridicule them probably because I like them. Just ignore it. Correct her.
