Where are these fans? Let's gather them together and force all the other Twilighters to look up the rest of their stuff. :yesey:

I am one of those fans, I listened to SMBH and I liked it, so I called a friend of mine who's been a Muse fan for years and asked which album should I listen to first, and since I liked what I heard I keep listening and now I love Muse.

I thought TiRO could relate to Twilight when I first got it, but I never thought it was about Twilight.

That's how the insane Twilight fans word it D: That it's ABOUT Twilight :/

And this...

Sodahead poll

If this person says either SMBH or Starlight, I'm going to verbally murder them :)

EDIT: Oh good! She didn't say either, but she didn't specify either :shifty::LOL:

I'm confused, what's that?

Sodahead  It's amazing. But the question was What's your favourite band. I (Dead Star ~ In Muse I trust!) replied with 'Muse, System of a Down and Radiohead'. Then someone called #1Twilightfan replied to me saying 'I love Muse!' So I decided to do a test  And asked them what their favourite song was to see if they were going to say SMBH or Starlight  Thankfully they didn't :awesome:

I've fallen in love with Map Of Your Head and yeah Hyper Chondriac Music is great too!

Haha, sorry, that's like my second favorite song of all time right now.

They said 'I have like a million favourites, wbu?'

Suppose it could have been worse XD But she didn't specify the names of any songs

I would ask her to name off a few (and tell her how my favorite is Futurism. :chuckle:).

Bah, sorry  I meant the people who discover Muse via Twilight and stick to just listening to SMBH, Starligh and TIRO. The one's who obviously don't know about Muse's full awesomeness  It wouldn't bother me in the slightest if all the Twilight/Muse fans chased Muse up after hearing SMBH, but unfortunately, not many do :(

'Tis okay. I know what you mean. I have a friend who's in the ZOMG I LOVVVVVVVVE Edward he's so hot and SMBH is the best song evar group, and she's 40, lol. But I love her anyway. I've tried to convert her to Museism, but she only likes some of the songs on BHAR, so I haven't tried to pursue further. She mostly likes country music. :vomit:

:awesome: I was listening to John Denver this morning

But I have people at school who I over heard saying 'Have you heard that song in Twilight, Supermassive Black Hole?' I felt like screaming at them

I know some people who found Muse through Twilight, and they're not the crazy 'OMFG SUPER MASSIVE BLACKHOLE IS AWESOME' fans, they heard SMBH, thought 'Hey, this is kinda cool' then chased them up and listened to their older stuff. :awesome:

That's what happened to me. I heard SMBH and thought wow, good stuff. Then I bought the album and loved it, although some of it was a grower. Then I immediately bought Abso and was like :awesome: Where has this band been all my life? Every song was like exactly what I was looking for, you know? Then I was hooked for life. :D

I got hooked onto Muse because of Feeling Good  Purely because I thought the song was stupid with all the high pitched ooing at the end, and I wanted to listen to it again to prove I hadn't imagined such a bizarre noise  But while I was searching for it (took me a week to chase up, I think it was a sign I was to be a massive Muse fan that I spent so long chasing up a band) the more I realised I wanted to listen to the song again because it was good XD

I know, I generally don't care for it, except for some strange reason I really like bluegrass. I think it's in my blood or something.... :wtf: My dad listened to country when I was growing up and I was always horrified and embarrassed. Of course my mom's taste wasn't much better: Captain and Tennille, Sonny and Cher, etc... :noey:

I don't think I ever spent so much time looking up one band. It might have been that I had 70 dollars on my iTunes or something like that, but I looked up Muse on Stephenie Meyer's site (I had to figure out who these Muse people were simply because of their cool name; I'm into Greek mythology), put the songs into iTunes, listened to the 30 second previews and bought every single one (except for Yes Please which I completely overlooked.).

But yeah, I remember it that clearly and it's been a year.

My mom listens to the local Top 40/Rap. My dad is much better - Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, he even likes Muse. My mom doesn't like Muse. :noey:

I don't know why I took so long, usually I would have just forgotten about them (just saying that about Muse almost makes me cry ) but something kept me searching XD I put out questions EVERYWHERE like Yahoo answers, music forums, giving descriptions of the music video because it was the only thing I could remember, the red, the megaphone, and the rose petals XD Then I saw TIRO on Scuzz and thought I recognised the lead singer. So I typed in 'Muse song sung through megaphone' and found a link that said 'Matt broke his megaphone during Feeling Good...' and I FOUND IT :awesome:

But since then...I've never seen Feeling Good played on Kerrang! or Scuzz...:stunned: I think it was a sign.

Oh my god I remember reading about Matt breaking his megaphone! Didn't he throw it at Dom or something?

I remember spending hours on Musewiki in August...wow.

I guess nowadays my Dad still likes country and my mom listens to classical. I think the Rolling Stones and Elton John is about as "cool" as she gets. Sometimes I feel like making her a Muse cd of some of the songs I think she might possibly like, but haven't gotten around to it. Your dad is cool, but he's probably like my age, LOL!

That was it, that'd thrown it at Dom and it had broken! That link changed my life :awesome: I think it was on here as well...

My dad HATES music with a passion. He hates it just to annoy me as well (I almost screamed at him when he said he preferred Adam Lambert's version of Feeling Good). But my mum loves Muse and SOAD :awesome:
