To be honest, and I'm probably likely to get alot of stick here.. SMBH is just one of those songs, you know? I'm kinda glad that it was that song and not one of the songs I love!

Excusing Twighlight fans (Not an entirely awful film, but the fanbase is retarded) if you speak to anyone who claims to know alot about Muse, when they don't, you get the following answers when asking what their favourite song is:

1) Supermassive Black Hole

2) Time is running out

It's just one of those annoying details that us Muse fans have to deal with. Every band has the generic songs that everybody knows. The songs that the fans actually dislike in comparison to the other TRUE songs of the band. I'm glad that Stockholm Syndrome, Plug in Baby and other songs that I love were not included on the soundtrack. Yes, still singles, but not as 'well known' as that.

It wouldnt supprise me if the delightfully catchy Uprising got added to that two song list.

They're either thinking of putting or have put Sing for Absolution, Hyper Music, Apocalypse Please and Unintended in New Moon :supersad:

No, of course not. You even said that you (at least) knew about Muse way before Twilight went out. I think Invincible Cydonian really said that the teenyboppers who started to "like" Muse just because Supermassive Black Hole was featured on that movie are the real problem in here, not Muse fans who like Twilight.

And, as musemom said, as long as some Twilighters can evolutionate from seeing Muse as Stephenie Meyer's band, to seeing them as a great group of people who make equally great music, I'm absolutely fine with it :)

Good, because I liked Muse in Twilight but then evolved from that and now appreciate the band for who they are. That doesn't make me a teeny-bopper, right?

I went to watch Twilight with my sis(she's a HUGE Twilight fan:indiff:) and her friends(they offered me a free ticket and I just took it out of a "what the heck" moment) Every time edward came on the screen I had to listen to "omg he's soooooo hot!" and a bunch of squeals...:( They also wanted me to scream "we love you edward" when he came on the first time....yeah I was like hell to the no..uggh And then when SMBH came on they were dancing and whispering that they LOVED this song:eek: I was very traumatized and wanted to strangle someone at that point:mad: and whats even worse is that I heard that there will be more Muse on the next soundtrack and movie:stunned: ughh...darn screamy Twilight girls:indiff:

Bu t Twilight is teh sex..... *shudders* I can't even say that as a joke.... It's confuses me actually.... I think all scary Twilight fans shoudl watch Let The Right One In, that is awesome :D

This has upset me greatly, sorry if it's already been mentionned.

Is this real by the way?

MUSE, the musical artist that we all know and love (from what may be the best baseball scene ever!) is putting on a contest! They’ve built a widget and they want you to put it on your facebook, myspace, blog website, etc so that you can share MUSE and Twilight with the world! The winner will get a MUSE prize pack that includes a rare sticker sheet, a bunch of posters, a copy of their latest CD – Black Holes and Revelations, and a Collectors Edition Muse/Twilight poster! How cool is that?!

ElenaCullen responded:

OH MY FREAKING MUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII LLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEE

MUSE!!!!!!

*based on a video of TIRO with Twilight scenes*

I would never have listened to Muse if not for Twilight. I love this video I didn’t even know it was fan made til I read the intro. AMAZING job. i’m sending it to all my Twilight girls.

There is no God :stunned:

Hopefully Hyper Music and Apocalypse Please will scare them up and they'll be left with a 'Wtf is this band' kind of attitude. I'm all for people discovering Muse, but not via Twilight :supersad:

I hope that Hyper Music and Apocalypse Please will make them realize Muse isn't a Top 40 radio hit pop band. I'm all for them discovering those songs.

Okay, I have to say it. Yes, we know that many twi-fans are irritating, and I agree that the ones that like one Muse song and call themselves Muse fans are delusional. However, I admit that I didn't know about Muse until Twilight came along. Okay, there I said it. I wish I knew about them sooner, but a 39 year old housewife/mother from the U.S. is not exactly the target audience, lol. The week Absolution came out, I was busy giving birth, so music wasn't exactly on my radar! But I don't think anyone can say I'm not a true Muse fan. They have renewed my faith in current music and have enriched my life in many ways. So, even though I don't care about Twilight anymore, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for it because otherwise, I probably wouldn't have discovered the awesomeness that is Muse. Sorry, I'm a n00b! :)

And here is my n00b hat:

(but that's not me in the pic, btw...)

Bah, sorry  I meant the people who discover Muse via Twilight and stick to just listening to SMBH, Starligh and TIRO. The one's who obviously don't know about Muse's full awesomeness  It wouldn't bother me in the slightest if all the Twilight/Muse fans chased Muse up after hearing SMBH, but unfortunately, not many do :(

I know some people who found Muse through Twilight, and they're not the crazy 'OMFG SUPER MASSIVE BLACKHOLE IS AWESOME' fans, they heard SMBH, thought 'Hey, this is kinda cool' then chased them up and listened to their older stuff. :awesome:

I love TIRO (my band covered it a few weeks ago :awesome:), it's just one of the 3 songs that the insane Twilight fans seem to know

Where are these fans? Let's gather them together and force all the other Twilighters to look up the rest of their stuff. :yesey:

Mainly people on Sodahead (poll website, it's :awesome:) Because it's a poll website, there's billions of Twilight questions

We should make a poll on there -

Twilight fans, what did you do when you heard Supermassive Black Hole by Muse?

- I thought it was OSSUM and totally about Twilight!!!!!!!

- I kind of liked it, but I didn't really feel like looking up their other stuff. Except for Starlight and maybe Time is Running Out, those are alright.

- I went and looked up everything they had.

- I hated it.

- I was already a Muse fan.

I went to see the film with friends and was sinking lower and lower into my seat everytime one of the new characters came on the screen and everyone screamed...then SMBH came on and I was like YES! Something to stop me from losing the will to live!

People think TIRO is about Twilight :(

I thought TiRO could relate to Twilight when I first got it, but I never thought it was about Twilight.

Especially when I found out about the 2004 release. Twilight is about TiRO. :yesey:
