2019.02.24 - Dallas, TX - American Airlines Center

Recommended Posts

so presale begins today for Dallas and can only find $404 "enhanced fan exp" or $234 "regular" seats. WOW.

the floor GA should be at regular price during the fan-club presale, shouldn't it?

YES but can not access "regular" price and I have the members presale code.

Maybe "regular" tickets open up at 1 pm local? Please advise.

Exactly that, the Muse.mu members presale is at 1pm. The 10am sale was for people who pre-ordered the album and have a personalized code. But the prices are $64 - $99 and are available, so I'm not sure why you're seeing otherwise.

Yes, I had the preorder presale code and was able to buy non-VIP tickets

Can anybody who attended this concert comment on if the enhanced experience/VIP ticket holders got let in at the same time as everyone else like in Houston or if they were let in early like they were supposed to be.  Thanks☺

I was at the show in Dallas last night and do not know the answer to your question.  HOWEVER, I will tell you that I got there late after the opening act came on and was still able to get pretty close to the stage.

We received emails a couple of days before the even with timing details regarding how the crowds would be filtered in and what times.

For those with VIP/Experience passes, check-in started at 3pm. Check in allowed you to get your wrist bands and the free box & poster.

4pm they opened the doors for the VIP/Experience guests and guided us to the pre-show party with the enhanced experience VR games and food and such.  (the games were a blast). Those who had the VIP/Experience tickets were given a chance to be inside 2 hours before the doors opened up at 6pm for the general admission crowd.

Around 5:30pm, they provided us the option to head up and get into line for early merch access. We were delayed a bit getting to the merch until like, 550-ish, but after merch, we were able to line up in a single row to head down to the floor. (Actually, the staff gave us all the option to go to merch or start making the line. I went for merch before the line, but regardless, I still was able to head down and stood on the side gate and was practically right in front of Matt with like, 3 to 4 rows of people in front of me.)

The general admin doors opened up at 6pm, and I think those who came with the VIP access were (I believe) mostly all lined up and waiting to head down to the floor. The staff were good about organizing the lines to avoid chaos and everything flowed pretty smoothly.

No, they were not let in early.  The VIPs were in a line inside the venue -- the "super VIPs" as I call them (EE package), made their line after their party and merch.  Then they let the cheaper VIPs (premium bundle) in.  We (I had the cheaper VIP ticket) were kept outside until the last second and it was very stressful and none of the CID people could give us straight answers.  Finally they let us in the building onto the concourse and we joined the end of the super VIP line.  Then, they opened doors and we went down onto the floor at the same time as the normal GA line was being let in on the opposite side of the arena.  So basically, no one got early entry.  The people like myself with the cheaper VIP package got super screwed because the super VIP took up all the barrier on Matt's side, and the normal GA got almost all the barrier on Chris's side.  Luckily I was close enough to the front that I was able to race around and find a gap between two people on Chris's side.

So once again, CID messed up, and they received a lot of phone calls the next day.  supposedly this is not what is supposed to happen (as opposed to an "accident-on-purpose"), so we'll see what happens in Phoenix tonight.  And trust me, we did everything we could PRIOR to the gig to make sure this wouldn't happen and it did anyway.
