scifigeekgirl
Definition of eternal optimism (or stupidity): floating around various places online, in the hope that someone will have a Muse SBE ticket... After failing to get tix in the presale/sale/draws etc, not to mention missing out on further tix releases and FB/board posts (timing is everything, and mine sucks quite frankly), have come to the conclusion that I Will Not Be Going. :'( *waah* ...and yet I still lurk on here like some kind of masochist All you jammy buggers who are going, hope you have a bloody good time. For my part, I'm going to head down to SBE (which is just down the road from me) in the vain hope that someone has a spare +1 - but also to see my mad musey friends who I haven't seen in ages. ...erm, scrub that. Thanks to the combination of a couple of amazing friends, I actually have a ticket!! My head has exploded.

frutiger75
If that's a setlist.... Then there's only 13 tracks. that may be list of songs they feel they need to rehearse, bc the song on dom anderson's IG feed doesn't seem to be on there -- or if it is, then it's at the end...which would be kinda strange. so yeah, i seriously doubt that's a final list. 13 total would be beyond laughable... on another note, i wonder what song is making morgan's hands hurt... yoyonco10
Think I can make out Easily on that setlist, that's about it though lol with the picture of Dom on drums on their instagram story
heyjackk
Could also make out Butterflies and what looks to be Fury and Futurism - both in half step down which would make sense. Think Dead Star is on there too but I can't be completely sure.

frutiger75
I see Fury, Dead Star, Futurism. The fourth song looks like Glorious to me. Is the second song Easily? Where are we seeing Butterflies? The fourth song kinda looks like RBS to me, but I sense that may be wishful thinking on my part, lol. In any event, the piano is definitely in play given the IG feed. Question is -- for which songs? Also, I suspect that whatever song that is making Morgan's hands hurt probably contains a bunch of arpeggios or something of that nature. That could be any number of tracks... Edited August 18, 2017 by frutiger75

Don't think Morgan would be playing arpeggios. I'd say chords with wide stretches. Anyone know what that could be? (inb4 "everything")
jacjens
A final try on a dream setlist. Potential top 15 of what my guts are saying plus three song encore. Showbiz (What’s He Building In There intro, +Ashamed outro) Dead Star (+Micro Cuts outro) Assassin (GOB) Futurism Muscle Museum Citizen Erased Sing For Absolution (piano version) Fury Glorious Easily Eternally Missed Falling Away With You Space Dementia The Small Print (+School, Negative Creep, Endless Nameless, Who Knows Who outro) Bliss (with balloons) ----------------------------------- City Of Delusion (or whatever has become 16th – would personally hope more for Invincible or The Groove) New Born (proper tempo!) (+Microphone Fiend, Maggie’s Farm, 0123 riff, Headup outro) Stockholm Syndrome (+Reapers, Freedom, Township Rebellion, War Within A Breath, Agitated, Yes Please, Execution Commentary outro) If they somehow can show the top 15 results in the encore break, that'd be nice. Most likely there won't be a big screen, but maybe through a projector or something? On paper that setlist is goosebumps, holy hell in reality ... :stunned: Edited August 18, 2017 by ChampenJacob
yoyonco10
Possibly New born making an appearance? There's the picture with him playing piano with the guitar on his back but it almost looked like the Dig Down guitar and not one with a kaoss pad for the piano to guitar switch he usually does, unless he's scrapping that part or it's not New Born lol
Hat
Possibly New born making an appearance? Or possibly one of the other songs they have with guitar and piano.
frutiger75
Don't think Morgan would be playing arpeggios. I'd say chords with wide stretches. Anyone know what that could be? (inb4 "everything") that's what i was thinking. these days, one stroke of a key creates the arpeggio. as you say, it would have to be a backing synth and/or piano part requiring crazy fingering for the chords...or, alternatively, something with a bunch of rapid chord changes. yoyonco10
Or possibly one of the other songs they have with guitar and piano. Yup, said that also
forevermusic
I had a daydream the other day wondering how possible it could be for Muse to re-work Sing for Absolution, with Matt playing piano until the solo and then guitar, which would be closer to how it is on album. Unlikely, but...
