"It's not so easy for me"

Cheers - it sounds so glaringly obvious now someone's told me :p

Anyone know if this particular gig's Easily backing track (electronic/harmonising vocals stuff) is floating about online? I love it. I also love the twinkly backing track in SFA - it's such a shame that Morgan just stops playing it abruptly when the songs ends, would've been nice to tail off, like how Matt did his wee guitar lick at the end of Glorious.

This gig just keeps on giving! I wonder how long Muse France will take to upload a multicam of the full performance...

To think its been a year already.

… still not jealous I missed out on tickets. Not at all. No siree.

To think I somehow had no idea the gig was even happening until after it had happened...

Best few days of my life, no exaggeration.

We slag Muse off a lot but I still feel genuinely grateful whenever I think about it. The venue, the performance, connecting with the fans, not only not disappointing but actively going above and beyond with the set, and all for a charity as well. Big love, man <3

I thought they would maybe play two or three rarities (Dead Star, Fury, CE) but still didn't expect them to fully commit to the voting or drop so many of the big hits. I remember the guy from Shelter coming out before the band came on, doing a lovely little speech and reciting some lyrics from Dig Down, which of course gave the impression they would play it.

...then that opening salvo of Assassin, Dead Star and Muscle Museum blew the roof off the place. :face melt:

Seeing a band for the 20th time shouldn't be that exciting yet it ended up being the best time I've seen them since the very first. Getting to briefly chat to Matt and Dom afterwards and thank them personally capped things in off in the most perfect way possible.

I thought it might be closer to the La Cigale gig, with Dig Down, a couple of the usual hits and then 5-6 rare songs at most, maybe even just 3. But fair play to them for committing in full by starting the gig with 9 rare songs in a row. :chuckle:
