 SAME SAME (I'm an hour away from Reading hahaha). But I've been to Leeds & Reading before and not Belfast so it was all good :D

That was me and Assassin for 12 gigs until SBE.

 twelve.

Fuck sake!

I didn't appreciate it at the time but it was the advantage of getting BHAR in full in 2006.

Then I saw it at it's only performance on the Drones arena tour at a gig I only decided to go to the day before

People like you wished you had seen them when I did, you are the lot that made them into a Pop Act not me I made them big but couldn't care less about them now because they are boring in terms of the music they are making & predictable set lists.

I was lucky to get a ticket & even more so to get Stalls, I don't have time for any LP tour of theirs, even when they did Reading in 2011 Mr Matt Brexit Bellamy couldn't even sing certain parts of Hyper Music because he was errrrrrr? What Old? Rubbish!! How could he not have the voice.

lol Troll no, Old Skool, where were you in September 1999 when I heard & saw Muse..........I'd love to know. I love when people say I've seen them 20 times etc................from which year?, yea exactly :D

Oh, sorry if my parents didn't conceive me earlier than '93 in order to be a REAL fan.

Sorry if I was just an effing toddler when they rocked clubs and smaller stages and... well, they "RAWKT!!1!", because pop music is automatically shit, right? "I hate pop, so it's objectively shit, and everyone following MY band (because they're only MIIINE, geddit?) after all of this is a blubbering noob who doesn't know shit about music, I'm better than all of you, hurrdurrdurr...!2!1!".

Well, you know what? You may be older than me, but you're just behaving like a prissy, snobby, self-entitled, arrogant and egocentric five-year-old kid. And no, this isn't about attacking the band or such, it's about belittling and giving crap to others who, just like me, happened to be too young to discover and see Muse in their very prime. And because of this, you're implying anyone who's younger than you and thus discovered them later are unable or unworthy of appreciating the " REEAL Meeooze1!!1" because you, instead, just don't like their late production. Which would be absolutely fine, if you didn't shit on people who still manage to have fun and love in following them because you think they stole them from you. Oh, alas, how dare they?!

Get over yourself and understand the band's attentions don't revolve around your selfish desires and they never did. And the next time you want to belittle and giving the others crap for liking or even loving what you don't, you'll think about it twice.

Is that the only Italian word you know? That wouldn't surprise me...

Oh, you're also a racist. What a nice person.

Yeah, I went to the night after the Assassin night at the O2, which got the shit setlist.

I had it even worse. I got tickets for the first two shows, and figured that would be fine, then they announced the other three. So I had a choice of either the first night, assassin night or the shit setlist night. Obvs decided the very first one would probably suck, but then I chose the shit one, on the basis that second nights usually got the better setlist. fuckin muse.

Wouldn't be a surprise if there's a few others with a "nearly made x gig with great song but got it wrong" tbf.

I went to the show before that one and in a tired haze, I nearly booked a second hander for the Assassin/Apocalypse Please O2 show because I'd had a terrible day before the show I went and had major post-gig depression afterwards. But then I thought they'd just play a fairly meh set so didn't bother. Which went well.

Tbf that thought process is why I picked the 2nd night of the first pair. Probably a closer run thing, given first night of those ones got Stockholm Syndrome, Citizen Erased and Undisclosed Desires, while we got Sunburn, Map of the Problematique and Take a Bow.

to my eternal shame I really unironically enjoyed hearing undisclosed desires tbh, its one of my absolute favourite songs and was a highlight of the five I went to in the end (since they only played it at one of them). On the other hand I was almost sick of hearing Map cos while it was one of my favourite songs I did get it four times in a row and it almost became a bit Muse-by-numbers (which is cool for non rotation songs, I can deal with it, but I was chasing rarities lol).

After all that though I just sort of accepted they'll play what they want and you just have to not expect anything at all. Enjoyed the Glasgow shows a lot more for it too.

Still really pissed off I missed Apocalypse though, no idea when that'll return.

Find it really weird when people say Map is super common for them and nowt special because of it.

I've had it 4 times in 14 gigs - only one more than Assassin, same amount as Dead Star and less than TAB

I was the same with Citizen Erased, 5 times in my first 7 gigs. Bliss used to be super rare (I managed to go to the first 2 UK bhar shows it wasn't played) for me but now I've seen it 5 times out of 6.

I've had Map 7 out of 13, it's getting rarer.

UD and Resistance are songs I've sung along to while there happily enough, but there's much better tunage in the live armory IMO.

The one that I'd love to have seen the most that I missed out on by one gig is Butterflies and Hurricanes. They played it at both the other nights to the one I went too for Wembley 2010 and the Emirates in 2013. Not that I can complain that much in the case of Wembley given that we got MK Ultra, Bliss, Citizen Erased and Ruled by Secrecy.

Map has been at 5 of the 8 I've attended. I'd be happy if it did have a 100% record of it though - such a reliably great live song.

Given I've only been to three Muse gigs (Emirates 2013 and SBE/Reading this year) the amount of songs I've seen is pretty high - Sunburn, MM, Showbiz and Unintended from the first album alone!

I suppose the two most common I've yet to see are Bliss and Resistance. Amazed also that I've missed Dead Inside despite two of those shows being in the Drones "era"...

Come to the US. You'll get your fill of Resistance *real* quick.

Though I'm not a huge fan of BHR, I always liked Hoodoo, quite an underrated song, I don't recall it being in the list though

Tell me again about US people asking for ONE SONG being entitled whiners.

If people saw that SBE setlist... Showbiz, fucking Glorious... and were upset because they also got KoC, they can fuck right off.

People who are more concerned about genres, especially what is or isn't "pop", can as well.

I would be MORE than happy to see an entire gig full of "pop" stuff of the caliber of Dead Inside. And it is fucking tragic that they're dropping one of their best singles in a decade already.

(And it'll still be the Drones era until they stop playing Globalist. :phu: )
