And just when I thought I was going off Muse they restore my love.

That's one way to look at it. A pessimist would say since apparently they're still capable of being the best they can be, why don't they fucking do it more often?

Sure hope they release a live album of this.
To be realistic I don't think that will happen since there are bound to be mistakes all over. Like Matt going really false on Glorious. It's fine when it's just for the audience, but I doubt they will release it like that, unless they pitch correct him.

I think this is probably the last Muse gig I'll ever watch. Nothing can top this now

Yeah honestly this gig will probably just make me accept everyday Muse even less. I mean, going back to ordinary setlists after this will just be pointless?

This is really cool they've done a proper fan request show. 7 years after the botched Resistance Tour voting. Drones era ended up being the biggest for these special concerts even if overall it's sort of agreed to be their worst tour.

If none of these carry on to other shows though I think that'll be it for me following them live.

And this reminds me of, why the fuck was Butterflies ever made a rarity?

I think Matt wanted to make it a special thing for stadium gigs.

(And also avoid that piano solo)

I just think it would be a perfect song to rotate with something like Map.

He got really sloppy at it so it's not much of an exaggeration. And let's give credit to Matt. He never really went back on his word (until now). He just stopped playing stadiums.

What's the point of rehearsing these songs if they don't play it at least a couple times? Spread them out to the next upcoming gigs.

Carry Glorious over to Shoreline Amphitheater next month. Please oh my god.

This is borderline painful to watch knowing some of these will probably never see the light of day again.

Suppose we enjoy it while it lasts.

I'm already excited for the next show and seeing all the same old songs I saw at my previous 8 Muse gigs. :awesome:

:'(

Does Matt have screens with lyrics on for monitors

I think that's where the setlist is instead of using physical ones. Wouldn't be a surprise if that's where they are for the super obscure though.

So what's next? They're definitely saving Showbiz for the end of the main set or the encore (unless Matt thinks he'll get tired)

This set without instrumental or playback fillers makes me wonder if the regular set fillers are really meant to save Matt's voice or that they actually think they add to the entertainment value?
