JimmyP117 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Ahhh, I see. Well, you certainly had me there, over a year and a half later!
ryanp16 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Yeah it being actually at the venue together with the security guy holding it pretty much fooled everyone at the time.
forevermusic Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 It was on the original setlist for that gig but they didn't play it in the end That isn't that bad a setlist tbf, but given it didn't end with Harmonica>Cydonia, we should've guessed it was a fake. Imagine actually ending on Assassin>Drones. That would be quite something. I'd be strangely game for that.

FabriPav Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 That set was the pinnacle of my trolling career. Special thanks to Fabri for circulating it at the time. Those were the days. Before Drones ruined all the fun
fam201 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 That set was the pinnacle of my trolling career. Special thanks to Fabri for circulating it at the time. , yea it was. Such commitment.
Mozza Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 The real set didn't end with Harmonica>Knights either. Ah Reapers closing
Destroya Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Sad to think Animals has died, one of the few songs I really like on T2L.
forevermusic Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 The real set didn't end with Harmonica>Knights either. Oh yeah forgot Reapers closed that one (and Barrowlands too?) Shoulda done it a few more times. Sad to think Animals has died, one of the few songs I really like on T2L. I guess songs come and go. I'm surprised Unnatural Selection was not bought back during the main Drones tour.
ryanp16 Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Oh yeah forgot Reapers closed that one (and Barrowlands too?) Shoulda done it a few more times. Imo it was a bad enough idea to actually close with Reapers on the first few gigs because no one know it, which really contributed to people just standing there thinking "yeah this is kinda cool" Would've been a cool main set closer on the festival tour, but it still would've suffered from people not doing anything.
Dominic. Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 It's down to the band though whether the crowd knows the song or not though enit. If they plugged the song enough and played it consistently, especially as a closer then even the casual fans would surely be more aware of it.
Jobby Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Yeah, as much as I love it, I'm not really sure Reapers works as a closer by itself, regardless of people knowing it or not. Was perfect when combined with Stockholm at Download though, easily the best position I've seen it work in. Shame it'll probs go the way of Animals after this tour </3

Nobody seemed to be singing along to Reapers at the arena gig, where it was the opener.
Boombleeb Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Ah Reapers closing Belfast closed with Reapers as well.
Mozza Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Belfast closed with Reapers as well. I know, I was there
JimmyP117 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Anyone seen their Twitter just now? Halloween special? Edit: woops, wrong thread.
jcatkinson77 Posted October 26, 2016 Posted October 26, 2016 Anyone seen their Twitter just now? Halloween special? Yes.... Wtf...???
Alexander DeLarge Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 Sad to think Animals has died, one of the few songs I really like on T2L. I saw Animals more times during the Drones/Psycho Tour era than I did during the ten T2L gigs I went to

Mozza Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Animals was played 11 times according to setlidt.fm
Zepp Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Animals was played 11 times according to setlidt.fm My bad, 10 times actually. It seems I forgot the Festival tour for Animals. Should be an isolated mistake, though. Edited November 2, 2016 by Zepp
Radicrane Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 unintended. Great; now we're gonna have a Muse pun-chain that goes on Endlessly.
