Q&A Discussion Thread

Can these kinds of questions stop? I'm quite sure that every song they've ever put out will return in some form or another in the next 30 years before they stop touring.

If you're going to ask, ask about the "near future". That's the only way such a question will be useful to anyone.

Could be wrong but I think those questions fall under the 'song request' bracket and won't be sent. Hopefully that's the case anyway.

I'd love some kind of Muse Live Blu-Ray Boxset re-release with re-mastered/updated versions of Hulla, Abso Tour, HAARP, Origin @ Reading and (begrudgingly) Live At Rome. Maybe with a future Drones gig on there as well. Hell, I'd love even just HAARP tbh. Like you said though, it'll probs never happen.

Didn't know Hulla and Abso couldn't be watched in America.

Both are PAL as mentioned but there's plenty of DVD players now that can play both NTSC and PAL. Games consoles can do it too.

Absolution Tour used to be region locked though, which made it playable only on a computer (like the copy I have). You can now get Region 0 versions though, so it's as open as Hullabaloo.

I can think of 3 off the top of my head but, according to Setlistfm, it was played 5 times.

Not many, fair enough, but I don't get why someone wouldn't just YT or even Google "I belong to you live" instead of assuming it was never played :chuckle:

Paris Casino, Stade De Suisse, Stade De France x2 and Wembley night 1 I think

I like this one:

Do you find it irritating when people approach you during your daily lives to talk about Muse and try to take a picture? That would be what I would want to do if I saw one of you, but I feel that I would be intruding.

And this one:

And I've got a second question for you. How do y'all manage to stay sane while touring together for so long? Do y'all have any habits that drive each other crazy?

And I'm not sure they'll answer this one, but it's an awesome idea:

#2 You never thought about re-record an album like Showbiz? The technology is becoming more advanced and with your experience in music, maybe a new Showbiz in the present would be amazing.

Sounds like an awful idea to me. Showbiz was SUPPOSED to be very stripped down, sound-wise as well as production-wise. If anythings outdated or unmodern, it's the songwriting, not the production.

Like...what is more technology even gonna add to that album?

I'm still kinda confused by this...isn't that what Drones was supposed to be?

This has probably been asked already, but I'm too lazy to search the thread - When will the boys start answering the questions? :batman:

It hasn't been said yet when they will answer them.

Shit, only just thought to ask a question like "With Drones, you've said your aim was to go back to being a more hard-rock orientated three-piece band, both live and on the record. Has this proved troublesome or awkward when writing setlists, considering some of your biggest hits over the last 10 years have been more pop and electronic focused songs? Do you feel they clash with the intentions of the record?"

Ballucks.

I agree. Showbiz is perfect the way it is.

I reckon maybe change the question around a little bit and could be decent. Like you said the technology mention is pointless, but if the question was more "if you were to go back and re-record Showbiz now, what would you change (if anything) about the songs, production etc..."

Basically just see what they dislike about their old stuff

That sounds more sensible.
