Did I forget to mention? It's an acoustic stadium set.

(And yes I know some of you would love to see it anyway)

Those two especially would be somewhat terrible/impossible on an acoustic, It would be a laugh seeing it attempted though

Speaking of different versions of songs... I've been thinking that a jazzy lounge version of "Psycho" would be hilarious. Like a Scott Bradlee & The Postmodern Jukebox version. Really pour on that thick, cheesy lounge singer voiced. "You are a pussy. I said... show me your war cry.":LOL:

I think my idea of a terrible Muse setlist would be Guiding Light and Big Freeze on a continual loop for 4 1/2 days. Maybe in a performance art piece.

I'd love to see them try that acoustically yes. :chuckle:

Maybe a suggestion for Richard Cheese's next album.

Piano, yes.

Acoustic guitar, no.

The chorus just won't have the power it usually has, piano can achieve it but I'd like to see someone try with an acoustic guitar :p

Just to clarify, I didn't mean a full on rock piano performance. I meant actual acoustic performances with Matt on piano (ala the TMF cafe performances of Meg and FG).

Darkshines isn't the same without it's powerful chorus
Are you stuck? No of course it's not the same. Once again, acoustic versions are not the same by default, that's kind of the point. If that was the case, no acoustic versions would ever get made.

Have you ever heard an acoustic version of a Muse song? Cave, Plug in Baby, Sing For Absolution? They are all songs with powerful choruses.

1. Revolt

2. Overdue

3. Escape

4. Aftermath

5. Guiding Light

6. United States of Eurasia

7. Feeling Good

8. Save me

...at which point I would just turn around and leave.

And then they play

9. Showbiz

10. Assassin

11. Futurism

12. Deadstar

13. Agitated

And so on. You would kick yourself for leaving lol
