I did see the '10 version, and honestly loved it.

 

The guitar less thing is bothering me less and less, as long as he picks it up for the important shit, and it doesn't end up like that travesty of Blackout.

The main problem was having Morgan play the bassline on that awful synth But I guess it was a product of Matt needlessly having other people play his parts tbf. I don't think Dom's electric drums helped either.

 

I can't profess to have liked the TR Tour version, I still found it mostly boring back then, but it was still above that UD, 2013 Blackout and 2013 Guiding Light trio. Those three are in a league of their own in terms of poor Muse live songs imo.

I gotta admit that the Live in Rome recording of GL entertained me with the crowd going "HEY" after every drum series. Sounded so silly.

 

But GL is honestly one of my least favorite songs from Muse period. I think "Save Me" is the absolute worst. Then "Follow Me." Then "Guiding Light."

Lol. Blackout and exo back to back too. Ouch. Tried to do a setlist without the usual contenders. You can have a setlist packed with good songs, but if the flow is wrong, it will go tits up.
