I'm interviewing Muse. What questions does everyone want answered?

I think the fact that he played them again at the festival really cements the idea that he does it for the sake of the "performance" - being more mobile (which the 360 stage does need) and interacting with the crowd.

I don't like it, but I guess I get why he's doing it.

Would they consider doing smaller venues in areas that didn't sell as well for the next tour, instead of cutting them entirely? Psycho tour proved there's a LOT of demand for more intimate Muse gigs.

This is like this. Listen to the two songs, both are Confortably Numb composed by Pink Floyd. The first one is a show in Gdansk with Gilmour and Wright leading the band, with just a few (very well used) lights but a great musicianship. The second one is a show in Berlin by Roger Waters, where the musicians are not as good and the prime factor is the show, with better lights, actors, costumes...

I think is the same with Muse, i personally enjoy more a music-oriented performance than a show-oriented one. If Matt is dropping his guitar to offer a "better" show, is a mistake, imo.

Oh, I just thought of a question that I think a lot of people actually want to hear the answer to.

How big of a part did he play in the composing of The International End Credits, and what happened to the music he did for Clash of The Titans?

Hello!

How are you guys? I'm great! I just met the love of my life. And I would do anything to make him happy. Since Muse is his number one when it's about music (he litteraly goes crazy in his car singing their songs! And when "Supremacy" is on... God save the people around us!; he infected me with that love! and we can swipe half of London when our heads move to the music, u-huh!), I have a very simple request. A short video with the band members saying "Happy birthday, Adam!". His birthday is on Christmas Eve. I don''t think that message will reach Matt, Chris and Dominic in this short period, maybe never even but I decided to take my shot, because why not? Adam is an IT specialist, crazy bubbly person, kind, loving and funny! His laugh is the type of laugh that makes everybody around laugh! If that makes sense :D He deserves all the best! I know Muse is superbusy, also with millions of this kind of requests. But maybe somehow I will not remain unnoticed. Anyway, all the best for the band, even if my request will not be possible, keep on going, you rock!

Regards to all the fans and THE BAND!

A.

Thought of a few:

In recent years, Matt has stripped down the use of in-guitar effects like Kaoss Pads, Fuzz Factories, Automatic-Tuners and all the rest. Do you see a time when this stripping down could be reversed?

On The Resistance Tour, Muse experimented with "Choose a song" polls. Could something like this be tried again in the future, either on a song-per-gig basis or full gig one?

What's your favourite Muse song to play live?

A lot of other performers have commented on the amount people in the crowd use their phones to document gigs, and some have even began banning phones, cameras, tablets and all the rest from their gigs. You guys also did it for the iHeartRadio gig in May. Is a "no phones" gig something Muse might consider?

I also think some of the stuff about re-mastering, dropping the guitar and rotations are worth a go in asking. I had thought about one where I thought Dom's cymbals sounded damper than on the previous tours, but that's probably a bit of a weirdly over-technical inquiry.

Bumpin' for last minute(ish) question:

Why has Defector been left out on the tour? When the album came out, it seemed like the kind of song that would at least be in rotation, if not a staple.

Edit: also one last plead for a bh&r anniversary question

Hi guys!:p

1. Do you really miss the days when you were a small band? Is it sometimes a pain when fans come up to you randomly and demand autographs?

2. What is your favorite Tarantino film? Mine's Kill Bill vol.1 (avatar says it all). ;)

3. Dom: What is the most adventurous thing you've ever done?

P.S: Cheers for a fantastic album! You bloody deserved that Grammy!

Over and out...
