+HD_Endless Posted September 5, 2008 Posted September 5, 2008 I want them to play in the Philippines!
chiefette Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I din't want to cause an arguement. But honsetly they only play massive venues really hard to get to and far away from teignmouth and Torbay. Trust me I've lived there for 13 years I know the area. Theres Powderham westpoint 2 massive theatres a giant green and beach and tonnes of other large venues.
Clunge Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Tbh, it wouldn't be that hard to factor in a gig at Westpoint on each UK tour, it's not exactly miles out the way if they're doing a gig in somewhere like Cardiff, Bournemouth or Bristol.
gocanux Posted September 7, 2008 Posted September 7, 2008 Is it just me or do the people near the stage on the first pic look unusually small? The Golden Circle is for the Little People of America Convention only... It's a big place! But would be perfect for a Muse gig or two---maybe a Muse weekend, like the annual Labor Day Dave Mathews takeover.

Ah DMB weekends at the Gorge Funnily enough, that was the first place I heard Muse (someone blaring it at the campsite next to us way back when...). I agree, I couldn't think of a better place to see them. Longtime lurker taking the plunge here, nice to see a fellow Northwestener campaigning for Muse at the Gorge
gocanux Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Hey fellow Seattleite Muser! Were you at their Paramount and Key Arena shows? Great stuff! Yes, let's start a petition or something! Not that those ever work, but Muse at the Gorge would be epic!
crazy_mary Posted September 10, 2008 Posted September 10, 2008 I don't care if they play here next, but this venue must be a stop on their next US tour: the Gorge at George, Washington. No kidding----tiny town, all there is there is this: was that from a pearl jam concert? how i wish i could see them live at least once in my life. but that's an amazing venue! I want them to play in the Philippines! http://blog.gmtan.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/m5-1.jpg http://everynation.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/03/14/convergence_photo_araneta_1.jpg again. amazing venue. i second that. would love for Muse to play in the Philipines too.
garseys Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 If muse wanted to stop along their "supposed" world stadium tour, why not here: ^Croke park Dublin during U2. Amazing Place! Still I cant really imagine them filling 80,000 over here if they didnt sell out 20,000.
Astronoma Posted September 11, 2008 Posted September 11, 2008 If muse wanted to stop along their "supposed" world stadium tour, why not here: ^Croke park Dublin during U2. Amazing Place! Still I cant really imagine them filling 80,000 over here if they didnt sell out 20,000. That would be AMAZING! That place is magical. I reckon they didn't sell out Marlay because it was 2 years since their last release and the fourth gig they played here in two years in a very small country. I reckon they could almost do it when the new album is released and its also an excuse for another Muser Dublin Hostel Takeover!
gocanux Posted September 12, 2008 Posted September 12, 2008 was that from a pearl jam concert? how i wish i could see them live at least once in my life. but that's an amazing venue! I think that was Pearl Jam; wouldn't be too much of a stretch, since they are from here. Sounds like a plan, and next time I will be sure that my phone works overseas so we don't miss the meetups and pub sessions!
Winter Moon Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 Muse is tearing out my heart; why haven't they booked a tour in the US? I wish to see them so badly! I've never liked a band this much before. Other bands it was like a touch and go, listen, but not true devotion.
leetroot Posted September 14, 2008 Posted September 14, 2008 that gorge place looks terrific but you'd want to be down the front with the little people. somewhere scenic is the best option for a massive gig - far better than stadiums.

tomnevati Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if muse are going to have a concert in Los Angeles or in any part of California. Thanks.
Liz0_o Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 not til next year (i see your join date.....thats my birthday)
avocaroma Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Anyone know of anything lined up for the rest of 08 or 09?
forevermusic Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I think they could play T in the Park next year (not Oxegen though).
JackAndrews Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I think they could play T in the Park next year (not Oxegen though). Why?
nickganga Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 So who thinks it would be hella tight if Muse was a headliner at Rothbury 2009?! I DO
forevermusic Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I think it would be more likely if Muse played T in the Park 2009.
