Just 4 reviews on metacritic.

But if you count all from first post right now it drops 1 percent below BHAR. So who knows which album will be "better" when more reviews will be published :)

It'll land somewhere between 70-75 would be my bet once all reviews are in.

My guess is 80. Pitchfork is gonna definitely aim to bring that down, I don't know if The Needle Drop gets counted in that aggregate but if so then that probably will too.

Fantano will give it a 1.

Yep, he despise everything Muse has done lately... And I think that he didn't like Psycho, and he said it's one of their worst songs :LOL:. So, if that counts in the Drones metascore... We can assume that Pitchfork will rate it bad too... I don't think it will surpass BH&R, a 70 will be my bet, even if it's obviously way better than T2L.

Worth remembering that TR got a 5.9 from Pitchfork. In fact I thought both their TR and T2L reviews were pretty fair.

The City Blog review there is very good, btw.

By The Sydney Morning Herald. It also has a 5/5 in Kerrang and a 6/10 in Classic Rock, but, not online articles

tl;dr of what Kerrang says?

tl;dr of what Kerrang says?

They call it a classic, literally: "a claustrophobic classic that sharpens the focus of what is possible in the name of high-minded rock". They said its music is pitched between high entertainment and psychological warfare. They mention Pink Floyd's The Wall saying: "not since The Wall has a stadium rock album being quite as grandly troubled", for it being pessimistic. Basically, they loved it :LOL:
