Alexander DeLarge
Muse just left the Munich gig abruptly 15 mins before they were supposed to stop... No encore, just a rushed thank you from Dom, the band left in their busses 10 seconds afterwards. Anyone know what happened? What's this about? forevermusic
whats the confirmed setlist please? Setlist fm is full of people messing about with the typical Guiding Light Part 2 Symphonic Version type song names My God are they still thinking editing in that bullshit is funny? topo_musero
I don't think it's a very bad setlist (nor a great one). I'm tired of hearing songs like Starlight, Resistance, TIRO... but on the other hand we have AP, New Born, Bliss... And with the new songs coming in, I think they can rotate a lot. Jedi of Cydonia
Looks like Muse is definitely bound to get booed off stage at various other summer festival gigs if their setlists look anything like this one currently does. EDIT: Insta photo of Matt on the piano. Probably Apocalypse Please Wow, that's so rude... I bet a majority of the audience won't care if there are only 2 "rare" songs in the setlist. I would be really happy to be at that gig myself and it just shocks me how many fans on this board would say that it's a shitty setlist when I really don't think it is. Hyper
Is it the same JFK speech as was used in New York in 2007?

serpentsatellite
I think they did last tour for the US and Stadiums but I may be mistaken Bliss/Resistance was a rotation for, like California. Then it was straight Resistance. And weren't people saying Muse wasn't ever going to play the full 2hrs?

Yeah, but once the album is released they'll be able to play more rock songs. It's worrying that they're still playing Madness though - hope that doesn't last long. Alexander DeLarge
Honestly I don't care if we get the album+ the hits anymore, the album is heavy enough. I just hated when they'd tour an album when the album wasn't up to par with BH&R/Absolution, this one seems like it might be.
Clunge
I was gonna say, for this tour, I hope they play loads of Drones material. It sounds fresh.
Wickerman
If they were booed at Rockavaria (which is basically Rock Am Ring but in Munich lol) I can't help but imagine the scenes at Download...

Bring out Hyper Music, Assassin, Dead Star...hell even Uno.

heyjackk
Dead Star. sounded beefy as fuck at whatever psycho tour gig it was played at
forevermusic
They were booed? Were they? Although saying that, it looked surprisingly empty on YouTube. Though they did say the festival collectively has sold poorly. sounded beefy as fuck at whatever psycho tour gig it was played at Manchester, I think. Hat
They weren't booed... Standing area was nearly full, seats sold poorlyWasn't it a festival? And it's very common for booing to not be audible throughout the whole audience. I know people said they couldn't hear Muse being booed back in 2009 in Sweden, but videos at the time showed that they indeed were.
