Citizen_Eraser
Idk why I didn't hear the country stuff my first listen. Probably because it drags on and I lost interest. This is like some Toby Keith post 9/11 lets all stand together shit.

Wickerman
Not sure about this... I like the guitar work at the start, but the rest... It's not bad,but the vocal melody is a bit of a cheesefest.
rainer219
Listening to this again. Wow, it really builds up well! That tremolo guitar and Matt's notes - I don't care how cheesy it may be a song - it's really passionate and expressive and it does it REALLY well! JessicaSarahS
It's so country! I wonder if they were hoping to pull in more US fans with this. You know what it could be true but, I dont care. It's something beautiful and different from the other ballads muse has written as a band. It's just not something I would expect from an English rock band. Maybe that's what they wanted to accomplish. Idk why I didn't hear the country stuff my first listen. Probably because it drags on and I lost interest. This is like some Toby Keith post 9/11 lets all stand together shit. Just gotta add in something about loving his pickup truck and beer and it'll be the damn national anthem! blinkin fightuse
For some reason, I thought I'd like this song at the beginning, but that chorus throws me off every time. Just sounds like some sort of choir song. Not at all what I like.
LucasWay89
I've cried every time I've listened to it for this. I lost the love of my life in August and she was as big as Muse fan as I, I genuinely think this would have been our first dance. (Though it may have taken some convincing, she was dead set on Starlight). I don't know whether to love or hate the song for getting that reaction from me. Man, I seriously cried when I read this while listening to the song. I'm so sorry for your loss. Just message me if you need someone to talk About the song: What does it remind me of? The beginning sounds like a musical I think. Edited June 3, 2015 by Michi2801
Matt's Jawbone
This song has stuck with me since hearing it for the first time. Absolutely haunting track with beautiful lyrics and gorgeous harmonies. This was the unexpected hit of the album for sure.
losco
I like very much the first 2/3 of the song. The ending is pretty shit.
musestu
Wanted it to build to a big ending, but it's still a beautiful song

jonisdead
This could be brilliant, if it wasn't for the last 1.5 minute. It's really lame seeing kind of shit posted about every song's ending, I literally have no clue what it is that "ruins" these songs for everyone. bananaman_
Lol Exactly what i was thinking when i heard the last part. Sounds like a fucking christian rock song, I hate it... Edited June 3, 2015 by bananaman_

Mr Problematique
I like the guitar work and the verses, not that much the chorus though. Not Musey at all but I like it
Black4bird
The only thing that could've made the ending cheesier was an uplifting modulation.
Dillyracer
Best ballad type song they did since Invincible. I just wish that sing-along backing vocals in the end wasn't there when the guitar work really kicks in, it just keeps on going and going.
