nah the muse version is way better, the majoy key is so lovely uplifting <3 the heavy minor key version is generically bland

I think it's just the generic tone+drums that make it sound a bit bland. The melody itself is good imo.

Yeah, pretty much.

 

Maybe the minor version would sound better if it was done professionally (not to say that guy didn't do a decent job) but, as it is, it sounds pretty generic imo.

 

Wasn't a fan at first but I'm actually starting to like what we've heard from this song so far :happy: That really short clip of those Queen-ish vocals is still cringey though.

I really like both versions. Maybe the minor one sounds more heavy but I think the real one has something innovative and different. In any case, we will be able to listen both of them! ;)

 

About the sound of my version: Yeah, it has a very shitty sound, but at that moment I didn't have any of my guitars with me and that was the best I could do. It didn't matter very much to me since I made it only to know how the song sounded. In a few months I will make the full song and I will be able to record it with real guitars and sounds. ;)

So is this song in all major key? From what we heard?

What chords are played in the verses?

 

Aside from keys and chords, I really like the Queen-like vocal harmonies Muse does - they work and they're epic.

Whammy part is definitely in a major key - pretty much got it tabbed but gotta get it in the right order lmao

For the solo I just use a whammy on 1 octave up and tremolo pick these frets on the g string:

 

11---14---12---11---14---12---11---16---17---11---12---16---15---14

 

Ending on

 

19 (with the whammy up 1 octave for this final note)
