kingcools
I like your's better. Much more dark and gritty. nah the muse version is way better, the majoy key is so lovely uplifting <3 the heavy minor key version is generically bland

kingcools
not really. Maybe the bass a little. I would rather say it has a lot of showbiz (the album) in it. the scale was used during showbiz times. E.g. Fillip
FabriPav
nah the muse version is way better, the majoy key is so lovely uplifting <3 the heavy minor key version is generically bland I think it's just the generic tone+drums that make it sound a bit bland. The melody itself is good imo.

Black4bird
Muse's version sounds a lot better. Not to belittle Darnu or anything, he did an amazing job. And not only because of the production.

Jobby
nah the muse version is way better, the majoy key is so lovely uplifting <3 the heavy minor key version is generically bland Yeah, pretty much. Maybe the minor version would sound better if it was done professionally (not to say that guy didn't do a decent job) but, as it is, it sounds pretty generic imo. Wasn't a fan at first but I'm actually starting to like what we've heard from this song so far That really short clip of those Queen-ish vocals is still cringey though. frozenbanana
Based on the clip with the vocals (even though they're hard to hear because Matt is speaking over them), I'm really looking forward to this.

Destroya
Don't know if someone has commented on this. But Matt's headbanging... He should've kept his hair long just for that.
Darnu
I really like both versions. Maybe the minor one sounds more heavy but I think the real one has something innovative and different. In any case, we will be able to listen both of them! About the sound of my version: Yeah, it has a very shitty sound, but at that moment I didn't have any of my guitars with me and that was the best I could do. It didn't matter very much to me since I made it only to know how the song sounded. In a few months I will make the full song and I will be able to record it with real guitars and sounds. rainer219
So is this song in all major key? From what we heard? What chords are played in the verses? Aside from keys and chords, I really like the Queen-like vocal harmonies Muse does - they work and they're epic.

LewisF
For the solo I just use a whammy on 1 octave up and tremolo pick these frets on the g string: 11---14---12---11---14---12---11---16---17---11---12---16---15---14 Ending on 19 (with the whammy up 1 octave for this final note)
