Ryoma-kun
Not a fan of the mixing at all. It sounds like they went totally overboard trying to make it sound as sharp and crisp as possible. Same goes for Dead Inside to an extent as well. It sounds like someone took their sub-par car stereo and set all the EQ-settings to max.
Hat
I think the mixing is too bright Too bright?

BigGeorge
I'm hopping on the "mixing is poor" bandwagon. Major loudness war going on with the guitars in the chorus too.
Wickerman
It pulled an Unnatural Selection lol
Tesseract
Well it sounds like it could fit on BHaR so they had to mix/master it like it was on that album too. I like it though.
alibros
I only like the first few seconds before the vocals start The part after the second chorus is so meh ... btw, JJ told you it'd be hosted under the same structure! we should have discovered it after the gig! Tesseract
Dull live and even duller in studio? Except US is great live and good in studio.
Wickerman
Pretty much. US is great live and crap in studio. Especially the version with the Queen-like intro.
frozenbanana
Miles better than the bootleg IMHO, I actually found the chorus vocals a very nice surprise. I don't find the production that bad until the last third of the song, when stuff starts piling on. It's not up to the standard of DI/Psycho/Reapers, but it's still an ok song overall. BigGeorge
I have yet to see Mercy live so I can't be the judge of that yet but the synths are too quiet on the record. Live they were much more noticeable and I definitely think they improve the song.
aleluman
It sounds better if you add a little bass and decrease the treble with EQ
alibros
this should have been a b-side on the psycho-dead inside.
