It's way too similar for Bellamy to have accidentally plagiarized it, either. Somewhat concerned considering other parts of the album sound really similar to other songs as well. I feel like the three parts we've heard will be pretty representative of the whole song, but yeah, the intro should only make up a small part of that first third. Maybe I'd feel better if they mentioned it, instead of Matt saying the beginning "sounds like something in a movie" - yeah... IS something out of a movie, you mean... It sort of feels like a lot of similarities. Not my biggest bother, though. Like Tjet said, it's been going on for years. I deal with it. I would just rather, with this song, hear Matt explain why they used this intro, and had some significance to it, instead of it just feeling like a rip off or random cover. Meh, I feel like you can do that with a lot of songs though. Hell, I always do it with songs on the radio where I twig that there's another famous melody that fits it. I don't really view it as a negative thing. The similarities we've heard so far just don't bother me I guess. If it sounds good, I'm not really arsed if it's ripping something off.
