Was pretty spot on for me, in particular the first minute was almost exactly what I imagined it would be. The guys also sound tighter and more like a band working together, which is great. So far things seem ace. Just need to hear the other song and the rest of the album before I make a final judgement. ✓ The song is Gemsy approved. No more to see here. Move along. I see it as a sort of speech that this sergeant is doing to their soldiers. It would be weird if that turns out to be poetic. It has to be... rude and simple. And I'm not saying that Matt is the best lyricist (not at all), but I think that the lyrics works in this context.
