Dominic.
Cool article posted in Muse in the Media http://www.musicradar.com/news/guitars/matt-bellamys-custom-manson-guitars-in-pictures-623731 Never knew the p90s on double neck had this kind of engraving? Oh and there's talk of copper bomber
james90
That picture of the original bomber... and yeah some of those P90s were engraved. Simno chrome and Matt chrome have engraved neck P90s, but with their usual logo. pretty much achieved Dave tone. Only required duplicating Homme's entire setup I think it's mostly the pedals though, and we've known about those since before we tweeted @dickmovedom

Assuming the Neve simulator is this mystery turkish distortion pedal?
james90
Assuming the Neve simulator is this mystery turkish distortion pedal? JHS colour box I don't think we ever figured out what the custom made turkish pedal from istanbul was. Neil suggested a dark cat dark fuzz or whatever it's called, but I got one of those and it wasn't even worth $40 or whatever I paid for it. Looks cool though... Also, I wonder if that's the same strat he's using live, but with a different pick guard?

Anyone know if the matt black on the cover is the original one? Seems like it's the same one that was used in the Psycho video and chucked about on the Psycho tour because of the body cracks, and I think that's his first one, but I've lost the plot with which one's which. scottST
And this, cant say i ever saw the original rackmount in his rig ever though, only the line 6 echo pro http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/guitars/effects-fx-pedals/103752-korg-sdd-3000-digital-delay-effects-pedal/
james90
Is this it? Right below the echo pro. What's this d-generation he's describing?
sidious911
Yea that Matte Black is looking rough ha. You can actually see it still has the mount on it in that picture for the Hammer Jammer. Still no idea what Matt had that for.

Dave.
Axe FX, a Kemper, and a pedal tray for stuff that isn't in the Axe FX.
james90
Fucking hell they've removed the transformers from the amp completely. Makes sense though, as it would probably destroy the chassis if it was knocked over enough times

james90
Well, bugger me And probs the repeats decaying? Maybe, I was wondering if it was that effect he said was the 80's digitech reverb (the effect used for interlude etc) Also Where is Niel, he'd love this. rust_relic
Anyone managed to get a picture of his rack this tour? This is the only one I have found of Matt's rig this year here is Chris's rack, also using Kemper's
heyjackk
soooooo many kempers
Dominic.
I do wonder if Bellamy's three Kempers aren't actually just backups and whether maybe he has a Kemper for each amp, like the VH4, Marshall, Vox etc. It seems the top one at least is the different to the other two
rust_relic
He has been combining amps before so it seems likely, if you were having backups you would have 2 or 4 of them
Dominic. I guess there's a bit more freedom to tweak and twiddle when they're still essentially split into their own amps. Plus got the $$$$$
rust_relic
As far as I know you can only do 1 amp at a time, I haven't found a way of blending them yet on mine Happy with the clean tones, just trying to find decent Marshall & Diezel sounds but very happy with it so far Edited July 17, 2015 by rust_relic
muse59200
I have some question about the Kemper, how are the built-in effects ? Can we use it without any pedal, and get a decent tone ? I mean about echo/delay etc... is it decent compared to a line6 DL4 ?
rust_relic
I'm using the same 5 or 6 pedals as before going into my Kemper as I did into my amps, haven't had it that long so haven't looked into the effects much, what i have heard they aren't as good as the pedals themselves
james90
those start at just under $3000 from the looks of things. they really don't sound that good to me
