"Have you been at Nando's before?"

"Yes. Yes I have."

Jelly. Btw what was Exeter like? Some of my relatives live there and sometimes they try to convince me to spend some time there but i don't know what to do there.

Is London exponentially more interesting?

Damn it. I don't know if I can pull it off.

I'd literally just go to see them, and head straight back afterwards.

Did you hear the webster hall recording? I haven't downloaded it yet, but I heard they left in SS + riffs and also the rarer songs, and left out madness??

Yea I listened to it, was pretty decent, some parts were a little rough on mix levels but nothing terrible. Everything was there except madness.

I watched the iHeart show too, was pretty good. They cut Uprising, but I knew they would, Matts guitar went out of tune mid song and he fixed it during the song.

Go to Mansons and try as many pedals as you can. Then clone them.

And yeah I'd say it's a bit more interesting. More stuff to do. Exeter is really nice, though much quieter (I think that had to do with the time of year, so I'm interested to see if it's any different tomorrow)

Hopefully I can make that 15 minute walk. I have my iPhone 6 this time, so it won't take an hour this time, but my legs are destroyed from the past few days.

and yeah sidious, I thought the same from the two songs that are on youtube. Is the iheartradio gig up?

The would probably switch to being an exclusively online store after that experience.

Gonna check it out with Streetview.

Yeah true

And don't worry, I'll get some iPhone 6 pictures of it for you tomorrow

Looks like only a few videos from it are up, not the entire thing, didn't look too hard though.

Also, you see this pic? Can pick both of us out quite easily from Webster Hall

CHJPAXzUYAEpxVm.jpg:large

Yeah just saw those.

And nah I didn't see that picture before :ninja: How was the iheartradio gig as a whole? I'm guessing they toned it down a bit compared to webster hall... he didn't have the full stack either

Missing out on all the fun all the way up here in Mordor.

I walked past nandos last night. Slapped in the face with a big hot wave of cheeky and I almost chucked up.

You have no idea how disappointed I am that I don't qualify for a nando's card.

I bet Dom has one of those nandos black cards.

Nah mate, I do have a standard loyalty card though, should whack me over the code on your receipt so I can get a free extra cheeky nandos

I swear the nandos talk will stop as soon as James stops going

I've still got a free quarter chicken card sitting in my wallet that I got in August. Could post it down to you.

That's genuinely quite cheeky.

Curse the little shit that first said that.

What, the one at the bottom? You can have them if you want. I have three of them now.

and it will, but not right away. There will be a period of "Remember that time I had a cheeky nandos? Why can't they open a nandos in NYC? why do they open them in the middle of nowhere in the US? That's the last place you'll find top bantz etc"

It was an awesome experience. Obviously the setlist was short, but got 4 of the new songs, and then some big classics, PIB, KoC, TIRO, Uprising. Hysteria.

The crowd was still great, it wasn't as rough as webster though which was nice to be able to just rock out and enjoy the actual show. Everyone there was singing pretty much every single word to every song (aside from Mercy and partially Reapers). Was amazing to see them in such a tiny little room.

Plus getting to meet them again, and getting the light diffuser screen for my mattocaster signed was awesome.

You picking up any guitars at Mansons?

James, if you have time whilst you're in Exeter, you should check out Exmoor. It's a bit special if you're into Moorland.

I should have some time yeah

Did more people get to meet them this time? You know how it was the day before. I was lucky to partially get in a picture with Marx.

I really don't know why I didn't bring anything to be signed. Maybe because I don't have much that can be signed that isn't a guitar

I only see a number on the bottom right above "check closed" - Is that the one?

Unless you mean the one right below the time I ordered (towards the top)

And maybe, not sure yet...yes probably

Uh, is there anything like #ClaimYourChilli on it?

http://i.imgur.com/v5ehipe.jpg

ot your eye on any specific one? Or get a Kemper!

Nope, I guess they print the receipt differently for people who use cards.

And not really, though I was considering doing that j-star up all sxc like. Definitely going to give it a try at least

I will sooner rather than later. Already got a bunch of profiles

Well there was a subset of people who got an actual meet and greet & actual picture with the guys. A bunch of people were successful in actually meeting them out back of the venue too. The guys hung out back there for a bit since it was a relatively small amount of people waiting.

You know us knt folk. Always masturbridging to guitar porn.

In other news, this cello bow is the best $17 investment I've ever made. It might just be the best piece of guitar equipment I've ever gotten too. I'm just using the reverb on my amp (which is actually quite a lot) and a drive pedal (my 27//54) and this is just the most hauntingly beautiful tone I've ever made with my setup. And the odd little screech and howl from the bow is just so good for anyone who likes that ambient sigur ros style.

Has anyone tried out one of these Mastery Offset bridges?

http://www.masterybridge.com/

They certainly have a lot to say about them, I'm wondering if they live up to the talk?

Not sure, I had one but sold it to Jim before I used it  Bet it's somewhere in the UK now. The mustang bridge works well enough for me.

has it scratched up your guitar at all? I wouldn't mind trying one for more led zeppelin, but I remember what Bs did to his

Yeah I was referring to the ones who didn't get the meet and greet. It sounds like they also were around at webster hall afterwards for a bit.. I figured they had to come out at some point, but wasn't sure if they'd leave right away, so I didn't bother.

No, not at all. If you get the rosin right, the most damage you do is some rosin dust on the strings, but it wipes off easily with a dry cloth. The trick is to really set up a new bow right. It takes a lot of rosin first time, then only 3 or 4 swipes each other time. I'm finding the best results on the 3 thicker strings, although I'd be tempted now to look at going up to a heavier set of strings all together.
