Buzzing for this! Going to Perugia for my girlfriends best friends wedding on 15th, and then extending the trip to Rome for 5 nights so we can fit Muse in as well :D:D:D

Always wanted to see Muse in Italy

Reading my city, Perugia, on the Muse Board is so fucking strange

Loving the weather forecast of 38 degrees for this gig.

Gonna be a sweaty one!

Holy cow! Better pack water and sun cream x15 factor 100 and fans!

Who from the UK is going across for this?

I fly out Friday morning with my girl and going to see some sites! Then

ready for the trip to the big field on Saturday!

Wow! Must be Aberdeen nutters then! I'm Scottish also, living just outside Aberdeen and meeting my friend from Glasgow and flying from London!

What your Rome plan then? Staying anywhere close? How are us Scots to cope with that heat? ;)

Haha, oh yes! When do you plan to get to the gig? Where in the crowd do you plan to be?

Personally hoping to be very near the front, and wondering what time that would require!

with gates being 2.30? and then no support until 7pm, that's a LOOOONG wait!

Front is where I want to be, and especially because I have a 5 foot 1 with me, she hardly could see Matt at Download, and she REALLY needs to see Matt :p

I have a hotel booking near the Hippodromo - at the lovely Piccolo Borgo - which I can't now use. It's 219 euros but a stone's throw from the gig. Can you contact me if you would like to take the room in my place?

Train and about half 7.muse not on till 10 now so guessing that's to do with the heat!

Great great show, so glad we travelled all the way from Aberdeen to see the show and share it with the Italian fans, the atmosphere was unreal and jumped like I never have before!

The organisation was chaos though and getting back out afterwards was totally nuts, so much so, that we missed our flight home and had a huge fuss! Nevermind, Muse were totally worth it! Impressed by "nothing but thief's" to....

Muse were great (Citizen Erased destroyed me physically and emotionally), organisation was bad (welcome to Italy, guys). The crowd, where I was, was even worse. I've been stopped because I was jumping and trying to moshing, and I was near the front, on the right.

Really? The crowd were great right in the middle about 20 from the front! Although, totally concur, worst organised event EVER! Trying to get home was a nightmare, missed our flights due to NO bus service back into the city and people walking on the streets, bringing traffic to a complete standstill!

Damn, you guys had it really bad, we opted for the train. 5000 people, tiny station, 4 trains. Had to fight my GF round a barrier before she got crushed. Shoulder charged a guy who was trying to push us out the way(11 years or martial arts training, you messed with the wrong Scot) but the gig was truly worth it CE followed by Apocalypse = puddle on floor. And where we were the crowd were awesome and NBT killed it!

Yea, totally...was cool to see NBT become a force before our eyes...Great support!

Yep, I've now been lucky enough to hear Citizens twice and glad the boys seem to think it should be a regular (at least for now) Well done! We were given info to wait for a bus and we were with a bunch of folks, an hour or 2 went by, and we gave up after seeing a near stand still traffic with all the crowd taking up the streets! Rome has hardly any pavements in certain parts...So we instead walked 8.5 miles back to Termini station which took about 3-4 hours with stops...on the way we passed young girls with their thumbs out for lifts, etc...and numerous people stopping us, asking us for help! It was a fairly last minute thing to go, so hadn't looked into every logistic as well as I normally would but that doesn't excuse that it was a shit show post gig! In years to come, will only remember the amazing gig tho! One complaint, Muse should be playing AT LEAST one song from Showbiz at every show and not once every few years! They're good songs and still work well live!
