tdrunner95
What's the consensus here about Showbiz? And specifically, Showbiz at Reading 2006? I think it's the best performance of any muse song.

Jazzthief
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGBxEtH7HgU Nah, Matt's vocals in 2008 were rather bad and strained.
Clunge
Wut? He sounds great there . In fact, that whole gig is utterly class.

serpentsatellite
Absolutely one of my favorite gigs; don't hear anything wrong with the vocals at all.

frozenbanana
It doesn't feature a doubleneck guitar, but this gig has a strong contender for best Resistance: [YT] [/YT]
Boogles.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvkHlMxeGdo Not necessarily the best Hysteria, but I love how Matt plays along with the bassline during the intro.
uneety
Absolutely love this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBGLLvNY-EY Or this one (dat scream). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akBkj9DPN0g ...or this (dat falsetto). Bliss, audio only. Earls Court gigs were gorgeous. Also love both Fury and Megalomania from Royal Albert Hall.
Witz
Both assassin and Futurism from Newport, easily the best versions of both songs for me, still gutted they didn't play them in Brighton although we did get the groove and uno, oh well... Exeter Futurism was better imho, Matt didn't screw up the some of the lyrics or the guitar intro
Witz
Exeter Futurism was better imho, Matt didn't screw up the some of the lyrics or the guitar intro Haven't seen a great video of Exeter if I'm honest, I will have a hunt later
LewisF
Exeter Futurism was better imho, Matt didn't screw up the some of the lyrics or the guitar intro Yeah, in the Newport version kept on messing up the arpeggios during the riff (not on the album). I think the vocals were better in the Newport version, Exeter is the better overall though for me Edited April 23, 2015 by LewisF

LewisF
Muscle Museum @ Exeter was the best Muscle Museum yet. Hard to beat Glastonbury 2004 and Earl's Court 2004 (2nd Night) for me. It sounds amazing a step down though, the only thing that lets that performance down for me is that he ever so slightly messes up in the beginning. It's definitely up there though
Jobby
The outro in the Exeter performance was one of the best but the choruses lacked the power and attack they had in the older performances. It's still between Glastonbury or one of the 2007 performances for me.
Clunge
Yeah, MM in Exeter was great, no doubt, but it has nothing on the circus versions from 2004. So dreamy .
