I'd say among the opening songs, Take a Bow was the most effective in setting mood for an epic album, although not all of the songs that followed suit were able to hold up. Supremacy was pretty good as well, and you can get a taste of the camp in that album even from that song.

 

As for the closing song, Megalomania wins it for me. It is one of my top songs by Muse period, and I think it serves well as a closer for what is arguably Muse's best album. It's tough to say what would be runner-up. Both Exogenesis: Symphony Part 3 (Redemption) and Ruled by Secrecy are decent closers in keeping with the tone of the rest of the respective album.

 

It feels like there's been a thread with a similar intention, but I tried using the search bar and came up with jack squat, so apologies if there really is.
