SuperBiasedMan
I was listening to Muse when I came up with an idea for a series of episodic animated shorts. Just to give an idea, they're simultaneously about a couple and their strong relationship being put under immense strain by a divergence in their morals and a government being overthrown and replaced by an idealistic dictatorship that slowly becomes corrupt in spite of itself. It's probably not hard to see the Muse influence. The reason I'm posting here is that I want to make these shorts and I don't think they'd be anywhere near as good as I'm imagining if I wasn't able to use Muse's songs. Obviously I won't do that without the band's permission. So I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help. Is there a good place to try get in contact with a representative of the band for it? Or if people had any idea about what kind of policy the band had about all this? If I thought they'd likely allow me I could maybe do some more work developing the idea, perhaps showing a set of storyboards rather than asking for permission on a vague concept. Any help people can offer me on this would be greatly appreciated.
